Low Elo Prejudice

Hello, I am writing this from a smurf account, though Normally, I'm a Silver 5 Jungle/Support, I feel that throughout the community, a lot of higher elo players are very prejudice towards low elo players, even though some of it may be false placed, see the thing is, an argument I have heard from a diamond player was "I am better then I was in silver, and I didn't deserve diamond then" and the thing is, yeah he probably didn't, but he's DIAMOND now, and he was probably a hell of a lot better then he was in silver, and keep in mind he went from Silver to Diamond in a single season, on his first account. That's either ridiculously fast small improvements, or some serious bullshit in how the rank system is dealt with. A lot of people just don't seem to get that your Rating is based on how well you can carry games in solo queue, because no one is going to listen to your pings, no matter how many you spam, and no matter how good the call is, you can make the best decisions solo but you can only get so far since this game is a team based game, it's a shame that not a lot of people like to play flex queue or take it seriously, because then we'd actually have a good measurement for how good players are in a team situation. Personally, I believe my macro is on point, I watch a lot of high elo streams, and a lot of the stuff they say agrees with what I had already come up with, I feel somewhat robbed of my potential in this game because I can't get anyone to listen to me, they all ignore my pings and die doing stupid shit, contesting objectives at the wrong time, or even just positioning very poorly (mostly AD/Supp, sometimes also mid). I don't know though, I feel like high elo players should Selectively call lower elo players bad... Just cause you can't carry doesn't mean you're bad, maybe you're a supportive player who helps others to carry... maybe you're something else entirely

because no one is going to listen to your pings, no matter how many you spam,

Spamming pings has always made people less likely to listen/follow. Riot also gave people the ability to mute pings, so ping-spamming can also entirely cut off your ability to communicate now.

low ELO has a low ELO macro.

even if the macro play is the right play, they can screw up the execution.

You make the call, if they don't follow then you need to move to the next proper call right away.

I was robed a win because instead of finishing off nexus our adc based. all enemies were dead 20 to 30 seconds left on death timers, nexus was at less than half hp and she aced them...based and said we should end as a team. welp we got aced and lost.

Season 1, 2 I was silver/bronze Season 3 I started Bronze and finished Plat that season. Not some glitch in the system, I usually won lane but then I would lose the game and blame my team. Until someone said stop blaming your team you can never depend on your team look at what you are doing wrong. So I watched replays of my games and realized I was making crucial mistakes in team fights, my positioning was off, my focus was wrong, and once I worked on that I shot from bronze to plat. Now don't get me wrong I hate plat with a passion and don't think it's good at all. But I have definitely improved since i focused on myself not others.

The ranking system is severely broken. Like severely. In the past 25 games. I've had 8 afks, 9 intentional feeders (7 admittedly and 2 non admittedly but was obvious) and 2 straight up honest losses based on poor playing being outplayed. So I've won 6 out of the 25 games I've played. I can't carry any harder than this. The Lee Sin just last game admitted he was D2. Like, OK? There's nothing you can do. The average person is a moron and that's that. Just outplay as hard as you can and hope you get lucky. There is literally nothing else you can do. There is NOTHING you can do. The game is severely broken because it's based entirely on the ELO system which is a 1v1 format not for 5v5.

Tbh, I feel like knowledge and practice are two very different things and don't necessarily translate to the same thing in terms of ranked. I've seen some very low elo players actually have a lot of game knowledge and great in game theory, but could never translate that into his own games. I've also seen high elo players know very little other about the game other than their one champ and how they fit into the game (not saying all One tricks are like this, just a few from my own experience).

On the other hand I've seen the expected opposite of that as well.

I guess what I'm trying to say lol is that I see where you're coming from and that I more or less agree
