So, I too have been permabanned for 3rd party programs after having my account seized.

Alright, as the title said, a couple of weeks ago, I had my account comprimised after a couple of months break. I got an email saying someone wanted to change my email adress. That got me wondering. Due to me being very stressed out and busy at the time, I did not immediately see this email. It took me 2-3 days to read this email, but when I did, I immediately changed my password, logged back into the client and saw that someone spent all my RP and IP. So I messaged the Riot support and got great assistance, my rp were refunded and everything was fine. Until wednesday afternoon, when I viewed my emails and read that I was permanently suspended for the use of 3rd party software or any modification to my client.

not only did I play champions where scripting made little sense, I also didn't perform too well in most of my games. The games up until the ranked lee are mine and talon and every game below where from the "hacker". None of these games have a particular good score, and the champions played are not typical script champions. Why the hell would I be scripting on Olaf lol.

Programs I have on my Computer that might be a violation to riots ToU are and outdated version of LSI, which last time I checked was not prohibited and Blue-Eye-Macro. BEM is a program that lets you use scripts, but I did never use it for LoL. All I have for my defence is that my matchhistory is utter garbage, and that my smurf is not banned, although i had some huge games on him (the irony lol). I have a new mouse as well, but I didn't paste scripts on any of my extra buttons on my deathadder chroma.

I don't know if this will draw much popularity, but after my first response from the riot support basically gave me 0 new input, although I had to wait more than two days for a response, so I figure the forums are my best chance. No offense to Riot, I usually only had positive experciene with their player support, but I am mildly freaking out.

EDIT: and for anyone downvoting wihtout constructively replying, read the post, make a constructive replay and then feel free to downvote if you think im speaking bullshit.

no, the forums is not your best bet. its your worst bet and should be a last desperate resort to get visibility and hoping for a tonne of upvotes and then someone will look into it.

Stick with the support, let them know that you were hacked (state your previous ticket number) and ask them to check when the scan detected the 3rd party program usage. If it falls within the the hacking time frame, then ask them to kindly revert the permaban.

Of course, what will happen is that they will escalate this to player behavior team, in which they will take a few business days to review the account and investigate the activities.

If you are in a hurry that you want to get on the account and play games to get your desired ranked rewards, then I think you may be out of luck.

yeah, that was my main concern, since I am 100% sure that this is some kind of false positive, but after i got an update to my support ticket, which was basically a prewritten reply, i am not so sure about the future of my account. i can can the thought of reachieving my platinum border this season as well, just a shame i let my rank decay T.T. well for now my only hope is to somehow get my account back and get platinum border again next season, thanks for being the first one to make a reply that helps me.

please read my post and look at my matchhistory. there is no way id perform that badly if i was using illegal programs or scripts to gain an advantage. also it falls in line what many people write on the forums these days too.

It doesn't matter, because gamers hate scripters even if they're not using it on their game.

riot has not the permission to scan your pc for software. this is illegal. and the scripting program isnt even on the same particition and os since i dont use it for gaming, so it should be practically impossible for any scanning program to pick it up, if riot were to use one, which i highly doubt. there are legitimate reasons why you want to be running scripts on your computer. and again my point stands, if it was scripting and not 3rd party, please in which game would people assume i cheated? i took such a long break which caused my play to be incredibly bad and i was not playing too well, admittedly. i am 4/16 in my last twenty games. and i mostly am playing jungle tanks, which makes no sense if i were scripting. another thing is i played normal games too, if i was cheating i would want to draw the most out of it wouldnt i? and finally, my smurf account, which i only played on with this computer, where i am playing adc and have phenomenal scores like 27/3 doesnt get banned? sure, the players there are much worse and i wouldnt be able to pull it off vs higher rated players, but if it was an automated detection, it would pick it up faster on that account right?

Multiplayer game services have the right to the detection of cheating.

Saying something is illegal, doesn't make it illegal.

yes they have a right to verify the originality of your client or if you inject some dlls. but they dont have the permission to read through every file and program on your computer lol. just imagine if riot would be entitled to have a grasp of every document you have on your computer, that would be bonkers. just remember the shitstorm ea got after origin was first released.

Edit: and again, this automatic detection point makes no sense, since i can play games on my smurf and be fine all day long.

Third party applications does not only include scripting on a certain champion. It includes anything that can give you an advantage over other players; timers, visual aids.

which again, i have never used. the only thing i used is lsi, which doesnt violate their stance on it its just a replay software and a program that prevents you from having to tab out to go to op.gg and so on.
