I got PERMABENNED and i did literally nothing

My account got banned on the 21th of April for the following reasons: Your account: karkadan93 was banned due to the use of malicious 3rd party programs or modifications to your League of Legends client. The only programs i used were: SkinPreview where you can use custom skins, and replay program. When they replied to me they said I was using exploits but they didnt want to inform me which programs I was using.

So to keep it short: I never used scripts or anything alike. Keep in mind this is my first and only League account where I also spent a lot money, so I dont know why I would even risk using scripts or cheats. I never heard of someone banned for using custom skins and I have litereally not been using anything else - I would love some insight, since my account is currently perma banned and I have no clue why and have no other way to get in contact with Riot.

Anything that alters, adds, or deletes files in the game's directory is a huge no no. Even Curse is questionable.

My advice: DON'T USE ANY PROGRAMS THAT INTERACT WITH THE GAME.

in a sense it could be. But seeing how a lot of people use it (common players, Streamers, Pro Players, etc) it seems unlikely. especially since it does follow Riot rules of not manipulating the game files. The skins could have been a problem depending on where you got them, thats why its a general rule of thumb to just not use those sorts of programs!

Supposedly it's okay, but considering that it adds an interface into the game (even if it doesn't actually interact with the game itself outside of the interface), I wouldn't risk it.

Did you let someone else use your account? They group that in the same catagory. Also skinpreview could come off as a flag and they might not be able to tell if it is something that only does what you say it does or if it gives you an advantage. You used a third party program, sure not to improve your play but it is still against the ToS.

I let my friend play once on my account like nearly a year ago. And again i never heard of someone getting banned for using custom skins, since im the only one that can see them --> and if that is a problem, that means there are skins that give u advantages over others ??? And if thats true then i dont know what to think animore. The skinpreview is literally only custom skins and nothing else.

I am not saying it does, I am saying Riot might not be able to tell what program you are using just that you are using another program. They then ban you for it, because using any program (one that gives you an advantage or doesn't) is against the ToS.

They do usually leave skin changing 3rd party apps alone, however, some of the apps come with other features that are not allowed. In those cases, you will be hit whether or not you were using them. Account sharing is a permaban offense as well. But really account sharing is a common factor in many of these cases. People tend not to value other peoples accounts much and they use 3rd party mods because there are no consequences for them.

Some skin scripts have custom skins that have unfair advantages implemented in them. Even if you don't use that particular skin you still have the scrip with it running.

So u saying is possible to get advantages by using custom skins(that i can only see). I mean i dont know if u know but twisted fate has a skin that allows him to have smaller cards(or something like that) , i think is the underworld tf. Lets say im using that skin for example: my opponent can only see the original(default) tf so how can be that considered cheating ?

Some skins have particle effects or ques that might help you land a skillshot.

yeah, that can be true with a REAL SKIN, but the hitboxes are the ones of the default skin if u are using the custom skin .thats why i dont understand that. Even if my custom skin has a particle with a bigger projectile(lets say a skillshot),it doesnt matter and maybe is even worse since the real projectile sent is the projectile of the default skin that my opponents see. Thats my point

I'm not talking about the hitboxes but particles on the skin. They add some ques on them when to do your skillshot. Some skin scripts are like cheats but undercover. Maybe you don't know about it or don't use it, but you are using a script that has it implemented.

They haven't been punishing people for 3rd party skins, but if they did the key issue would probably be that you are unlocking a pay feature without paying. Similar to piracy. Not that it is giving you an advantage.

You're pretty much guaranteed to get a copy-paste response to a ticket, due to the massive number of requests they have to deal with. If you reply to that again and ask for a person, they should be able to get back to you at some point.

I rewrote to them but i had no response. I think my account can be considered gone and done. But still i didnt have an exaustive response that showed me evidence.
