CAN I PLEASE HAVE SOME HELP

I can't be fucking nice in this game. I get paired with jungles that don't know what to do, and then when you try to help them out or give them tips, they dont' take it and they just ignore you or afk or whatever. How do you constantly be nice to people like that? It's unfair to me, somebody who gets easily frustrated with things, then just to get banned because I got BAITED into being toxic. is this how you run your game Riot? Really?

it's not fucking fun, and it's obviously very very frustrating.

your lack of patience does you no favors.

but maybe you'll wanna try and find a different way to deal with your frustrations.

don't let yourself get baited.

You have to understand that you can only control one champion in the game. Are people going to do things you disagree with? Definitely. Is it okay to provide constructive feedback if somebody seems to need it? Yes, that's fine. Is it okay to be frustrated? Of course! They key, though, is that you don't ever voice this frustration back to your team. It doesn't accomplish anything.

You don't actually have to be nice, you just have to not be a dick. A good rule of thumb would be to never use chat for anything non-critical. What I mean by that, is to limit yourself to only using chat to say "drag up", "do baron", "push", or anything like that. If you want to take a step to appear to be positive with minimal effort, you can also throw in a "gj" or "ty" when people get kills or there's a successful gank in your lane.

A lot of good advice was posted. You need to relax or something. If your swearing on here and that tilted over the game then maybe walking away for awhile is good. Unfortunately it took a 14 day ban for it to happen. The games get frustrating I agree but its a game and need to remember that before going off on players.

If you can't restrain yourself then maybe you shouldn't be playing a competitive online game.

I'll agree with you that the majority of the community is cancer and deserves to get purged but that doesn't mean you should join in with them in being cancer. I learned that the hard way and now I just mute them and report them after the game.

Still unreasonable that we're forced to waste 30 minutes of our life in a game with trolls and feeders but you can blame riot's report system for that.

Worry less about what others do in this game and worry more about what you're doing in this game.

When you're worried about others, you start nit picking on their actions, second guessing everything they do, and your chat will reflect that. You dismiss your junglers experience because they built an item you wouldn't have.

When you focus on your own gameplay, you see mistakes you could have avoided and ways you could have improved. It turns the entire experience from a negative one to one of self improvement. It doesn't change what the Jungler built, but it helps you be more OK with it.

Here's my two cents.

Your rage does NOTHING. If anything, rage makes the game worse. Worse for you, worse for your teammates, it makes you play worse, it makes them play worse. Your rage is impotent and futile. So there's no reason to put it out there.

I would recommend playing with a friend, and asking him to tell you when you are crossing the line in chat. He will be able to keep a more objective idea about what you are saying since he is not emotionally involved. And it will help train you control yourself. Just an idea.

Your responses here seem positive so there's hope. Something a lot of people don't realize is it's always what you say/type, it's how you're typing.

For instance I had a game where irelia was getting tooled on by shen. Bad enough to the point where I couldn't gank to help for fear of a double kill and making it that much worse. I could easily have said. "You fucking bronzie, why don't you have mr". Instead I said "irelia: shen is dealing ap damage, stall your tf and rush a hexdrinker if an ap opponent gets ahead. It'll help a lot with his damage". She did, it helped a lot, she stopped dieing, we won. And she thanked me after the game for the help.

It's true, not everyone will take the advice well. And if they backlash, mute them, they're not worth it. But if you put it correctly, you will never get banned for this type of comment.

Some tips: 1: Mute them. Seriously, if they are assholes, mute them before they make you angry. 2: Just don't type your thoughts. You can think really nasty things about people. But you can only get banned if you actually take the time to type your thoughts. 3: Remember: It is a game. Even if you have put a lot of time in it, even if you really enjoy it, even if it is ranked, this is still just a game. 4: The others players are people too. This may seem obvious, but it is easy to focus so much on yourself that you forget the annoying jungler or feeding mid laner is person who is trying to enjoy the game just like you. If you wouldn't say it to someone in person, don't say it in game.
