Is riot on a banning spree or is it coincidence

Ok here's the thing, I might not be the perfect player and sometimes I do provoke teammates. But I never actually Flame someone really hard or int or anything. and the first 2 years that I played this game I have had 1 of my friends get banned. Now its been happening every 2 weeks that someone gets a 14 day ban or even a permban. I think that I've been more of a sportsmanlike player in the past few weeks. and now i get banned for a game where I only had a few salty remarks after another horrible day of league games. I said 1 swearword, which was only used in a quote of what one of my teammates said. I'd like to know if any of you think I should've been banned for this. wondering what you people think. Should i have been banned for this? thats the most 'toxic' I've been in 2 months. And if a rioter reads this. Is there a reason this has been happening or is it just pure coincidence?

You called your team idiots. That's enough for a ban. It contributes nothing and it's very toxic.

Riot is banning people every day. You can call that a spree, but it's not anything new.

I think you deserved it :/ putting your team mates on the spot like that. Insulting them won't make the game any better, or their self-esteem either. They most likely already knew that they were doing bad, but you didn't need to point it out and remind them of their mistakes. Like yeah they may have done really bad plays, but you can just keep whatever bad comments to yourself. You should've just told them what to do and what their doing wrong instead of just saying "this team are idiots" or "I would say report my team but theyre not worth the time", like saying those things aren't gonna make them do any better :/

Same thing happened to me today, banned from 1 game only, with no previous restrictions, just cause I happened to land with 4 flaming premades that banned my pick :^ )

I got banned 2 days ago aswell... I was honour level 5 and I had a clean history (wasn't under the influence of a previous chat restriction) and I got insta 14-day banned. I think bans are getting more frequent now and I honestly think it's ridiculous.

I hate teammates that just end up blaming the entire team. No it is not coincidence that toxic people are getting banned. That's just how it goes. Idk what you're talking about every 2 weeks someone gets a punishment... thousands get punished every week.

riot doesnt care and promotes toxic behavior also dont you know 100% of the community is toxic . no you shouldnt of i can send you mine and youll be like wtf.... didn tsay anything but somehow i was banned then they lifted it and made it a 14 day suspension. Could be i said everyone hates supp, or kindred is a bad jungler and why choose kindred over say graves or ez becuase kindred is less mobile and her ganks are crap. My jungler and adc fed there butts off literally but i get blamed for ks and for playing alistar as a ap bruiser. How does one ks when i 1v1 and dive turrets to secure kills? i did say morons i can read what you said and yes they were being salty as hell to me does riot care nope they do not

Riot is on a banning spree, they aren't getting actually new players who are spending like they used to, just banned players making new accounts and most are smart enough not to waste money when riot just thieves it away from you over anything now. So they are banning super aggressive over shit they never banned over before to try to force new accounts and more chances at spending. If they don't stop you from making another account, there is no point of them taking away skins and champs from people for any other logical reason. Its like you are in a restaurant having a big dinner party spending money and they come along and say you are banned from the store but you just have to go outside and can come back in.

Riot themselves dont give a single shit about actual players, they let their automatic system do everything. I was a toxic player, i admit that, but i stopped after a 14 day ban, stopped even mostly talking at all in game. But then a single game, where i had a support that inted 3 times in bot lane then went afk, where the jungler literally decided it was better to finish the enemy raptors instead of help me and counter gank, when i was running right to him, then say "I was there dude", and later int for the rest of the game, and trap us in the game after our top laner went afk as well. Like literally run into 5 people every time he spawned, and refuse to surrender. Where the other team responded to me asking them to just push mid and end because of our 2 afk players, and our inting jungler, by hunting me down anywhere i went for the rest of the game, and refusing to end. This ridiculous game, i got reported by the other team for just wanting the game to end, and i got an instant permanent ban, From One SIngle game, when i had literally stopped talking to people because it wasnt worth losing my account. Riot only cared about their automatic system and takes it as gospel, when more likely than not, now in todays community you are going to get reported more likely for playing bad than actual toxicity. I have submitted a ticket and sent response after response, my ticket has been pushed to a second person now and all i get is a cut and paste response from someone who refusus to actually watch the game and see what was going on. Riot really doesnt care about what their system is doing, how bad it is, the way it enables toxic players who know how to bend the system. They are in it for the money and nothing else.

After my ban, i had not talked almost at all except to say "GJ' or "TY' but all that happens, i chatted this, and i get banned.
