Is riot on a banning spree or is it coincidence

Ok here's the thing, I might not be the perfect player and sometimes I do provoke teammates. But I never actually Flame someone really hard or int or anything. and the first 2 years that I played this game I have had 1 of my friends get banned. Now its been happening every 2 weeks that someone gets a 14 day ban or even a permban. I think that I've been more of a sportsmanlike player in the past few weeks. and now i get banned for a game where I only had a few salty remarks after another horrible day of league games. I said 1 swearword, which was only used in a quote of what one of my teammates said. I'd like to know if any of you think I should've been banned for this. wondering what you people think. Should i have been banned for this? thats the most 'toxic' I've been in 2 months. And if a rioter reads this. Is there a reason this has been happening or is it just pure coincidence?

I think you deserved it :/ putting your team mates on the spot like that. Insulting them won't make the game any better, or their self-esteem either. They most likely already knew that they were doing bad, but you didn't need to point it out and remind them of their mistakes. Like yeah they may have done really bad plays, but you can just keep whatever bad comments to yourself. You should've just told them what to do and what their doing wrong instead of just saying "this team are idiots" or "I would say report my team but theyre not worth the time", like saying those things aren't gonna make them do any better :/

And sure, if they are idiots then maybe they deserved to be called that, but not here. Riot wants to reduce all the negativity they can get rid of, so i'm guessing that's why all the banning sprees are going off. And yeah, being called names is "not that serious dude," but younger players in the community don't know any better. I'm sympathizing with the other people who were called names. And again, flaming someone in chat is not gonna make the game any better for them and their team. Going back to your little statement, "Just a bunch of cry baby little kids on this game now" that's also another reason why Riot is going on this supposed "banning spree" to keep the "cry baby little kids" from crying. Jesus Christ, you're making it sound like League is only for mature fucking people, it's a game, and no matter what, people of all ages are going to play this beautiful fucking game, like any other damn game.

Well I was only showing my point of view on the information given, and not focusing on the other factors that may have resulted the author's ban. So if I made a mistake on my opinion, yes, an opinion(it seems like most people don't get that when they surf the internet), then that is my bad for assuming such a thing.

Same thing happened to me today, banned from 1 game only, with no previous restrictions, just cause I happened to land with 4 flaming premades that banned my pick :^ )

I got banned 2 days ago aswell... I was honour level 5 and I had a clean history (wasn't under the influence of a previous chat restriction) and I got insta 14-day banned. I think bans are getting more frequent now and I honestly think it's ridiculous.

I hate teammates that just end up blaming the entire team. No it is not coincidence that toxic people are getting banned. That's just how it goes. Idk what you're talking about every 2 weeks someone gets a punishment... thousands get punished every week.

Riot themselves dont give a single shit about actual players, they let their automatic system do everything. I was a toxic player, i admit that, but i stopped after a 14 day ban, stopped even mostly talking at all in game. But then a single game, where i had a support that inted 3 times in bot lane then went afk, where the jungler literally decided it was better to finish the enemy raptors instead of help me and counter gank, when i was running right to him, then say "I was there dude", and later int for the rest of the game, and trap us in the game after our top laner went afk as well. Like literally run into 5 people every time he spawned, and refuse to surrender. Where the other team responded to me asking them to just push mid and end because of our 2 afk players, and our inting jungler, by hunting me down anywhere i went for the rest of the game, and refusing to end. This ridiculous game, i got reported by the other team for just wanting the game to end, and i got an instant permanent ban, From One SIngle game, when i had literally stopped talking to people because it wasnt worth losing my account. Riot only cared about their automatic system and takes it as gospel, when more likely than not, now in todays community you are going to get reported more likely for playing bad than actual toxicity. I have submitted a ticket and sent response after response, my ticket has been pushed to a second person now and all i get is a cut and paste response from someone who refusus to actually watch the game and see what was going on. Riot really doesnt care about what their system is doing, how bad it is, the way it enables toxic players who know how to bend the system. They are in it for the money and nothing else.

After my ban, i had not talked almost at all except to say "GJ' or "TY' but all that happens, i chatted this, and i get banned.

Constant negativity (especially after a 14 days ban) is what gets you off with punishments.

As a basic example of how riot treats everyone- imagine this whole chatlog talked from a stranger. Wouldn't it be rude for a stranger to come and swear that much and insert such negativity?

In all honesty- I'm against the whole process of how Riot treats bans. I myself, am on said thin ice. I often come in this forum to give my opinion to people who refers as the same situation as me. I really do not wish for anyone to be banned, since that's something really sad to happen.

In TL;DR, Nodice21, remember that Riot treats your whole chatlog and negativity on your own, and regardless of how tilting it was, adding more negativity won't make things brighter. In their situation, I'd be frustrated as well. But there are other ways to ask for enemy to end than "PUSH FUCKING MID" and "JINX DUMBASS".

Hope it clarifies a bit things.

wow dont worry i was banned for literally playing alistar as a ap bruiser....i had kills but how can 1 ks when i 1v1 for them and dive turrets to secure them. The adc and jungelr were feeding blaming me as the usual, if your losing or doing bad its 100% the supps fault never the misplays they had done.... I said kindred was a stupid jungler champ and why pick her over graves or ez more damage and more mobile. Literally

I've already played AP alistar, and you can't be banned for that. Riot made a video about it- unusual picks are not bannable.

i was banned for it. that is why i was reported, they said i was feeding and was reported shocker. Then when i wrote a ticket they were saying i was negative and i asked where they didnt give me any...could be i said kindred is a crap jungler and why pick kindred over ez jungle or graves junlge. Then i called the peopel who muted me morons becuase they were calling me useless noob ks so on and so forth. They muted me btw soooo yah hmm. Apperently i was ks as the supp when i was 1v1 people and turret diving and ulting to secure kills.

Could be i said everyone hates supp, or kindred is a bad jungler and why choose kindred over say graves or ez becuase kindred is less mobile and her ganks are crap. ive expressed my opinion to riot and thats what they had said to me. I mean i can fix league or at least make it less toxic. The thing is people will be toxic to someone else but when someone does it to them its wrong..... Make ranked que and flex que chat restricted. Step 2 remove mastery taunt at ther very least of emojis. Step 3 get rid of autofill and bring back blind pick ranked like it used to be.

Riot is on a banning spree, they aren't getting actually new players who are spending like they used to, just banned players making new accounts and most are smart enough not to waste money when riot just thieves it away from you over anything now. So they are banning super aggressive over shit they never banned over before to try to force new accounts and more chances at spending. If they don't stop you from making another account, there is no point of them taking away skins and champs from people for any other logical reason. Its like you are in a restaurant having a big dinner party spending money and they come along and say you are banned from the store but you just have to go outside and can come back in.
