Permaban alternative?

Goodmorning community,

My main account got permanently banned recently, to start off I will not ever defend the reasons that got my account suspended. Punishment is what i most definitely earned I will not deny that under any circumstances. Neither will I blame the trolls afks and other 'reasons' I did flame there like I did sometimes. But I do think the permanent ban is a waaaay too heavy measure. Because all the people that I flamed probably long forgot me and are probably smiling inside because i got punished so hard. Now what I do want to say is I am a good person, but I flame because trolls and afks make me superhard sometimes, again no excuse, but I do not flame because I am a complete jerk. So I understand flame is very punishable and negative, but it's literally the only thing that I did bad on my other acc, but even when I was mad I never, ever trolled or stopped tryharding till the bitter of a game. Next to this, as you see, I have a some kind of smurf, and I had some friends offering me smurfs, but that's so unnecesarry cause I just want my account back. If I play on on even better elo accounts that I can get for free, the tribunal did not ban me a a person, just my account, that I spent way too much money on to just be taken from me. Now I do not say lift me from all penalties. But let me cut to the chase: WHy not give my account forever chat restriction and a firm ranked restriction as well so I get punished decently. Because I do get banned on a small amount of games that I get reported in (based on my 3,5k games), but I also complimented players that did will so often, more than games i flamed, I think there is no good balance in that, cause you never get . You might say, I've been warned enough with smaller bans and restrictions, I agree, but in this case I did not even receive any warnings that I had been reported recently, It was just boom, cya nerd. But I think that just taking away someones big account they spent so much time and money on is just not fair. Ofcourse I do deserve punishment, but to be completely removed? No. Cause again this is not even the solution, I am still here. I do not disagree on being punished, I do deserve that, but this is really insane imo. So that's why I think I should get a shorter ban for instance, ranked restriction for an amount of games and maybe just permanent chat restriction. Cause that woud mean I do not lose my account that i spend so much time anc money on, cause it's insane to just ban that forever, and I get punished hard, AND the permanent chat restriction solves the problem for the community, cause I'm again, not a bad person and sure as hell not a bad player. So again, punish me hard? yes, go ahead. But perma ban me? Come on, it's superharsh and NOT the solution cause I am still here. I understand flamers are not cool, but I think there are better measures to take for all then just do this. Because losing your main account and everything for sucking at one aspect of the game, which I do, is just too hard. Please read this good and think about it.

People get permabanned because they refuse to reform. Giving them their accounts is just leaving toxic and problematic people in the system.

Hopefully losing your account teaches you that your actions have repercussions, and if you decide to make a new account you'll stop being toxic.

I see the words "i deserved my bans, but I am a good person" then immediately I notice a wall of text.

Your poll is meaningless. Of course it should be discussable, thats just fishing for yes votes to artificially make your opinion look better.

A permanent chat restriction is basically what the old system was. People just kept using their limited chats to be toxic, adding another few hundred chat restricted games to their existing thousand or so. It didn't solve anything and they didn't learn anything.

From what I've been told, there use to be a system that gave permabanned players a chance to get their account back if they behaved, but even that was scrapped because those permabanned players just couldn't hold it together. Granted, the system works differently now, so there could be a greater success rate, but I'm not sure Riot will want to put up with it again.

Riot's OK not banning you as a person. There are a few players that have been permabanned who show up on these boards a few months later and say "I'm doing it, I'm not being toxic!" Combine that with it being just too hard to ban an individual person without hitting innocent people in the process.
