BAN SYSTEM MADE FOR PG 3????

So I just got banned for 14 days beacuse i wrote "kys Kappa" in all chat and when they all spammed "banned LUL" "reported LUL" i said something like "%%%%s" back to them. AND THEN i get banned for 14 days? this is a joke! i haven't played this game for almost 2 years and when i start playing it a little i get banned 10 games into my starting to play this game again.

This is absolutely ridiculous, how do I get banned in a NORMAL GAME when i was throwing some funny banter with the enemy team (we were premades and them too). The fact that they were all premades probably meant they all reported me and I believe this is abusing the report system and thus bannable.

Or perhaps someone can explain to me why riot is sooooo strict when it comes to reports all of a sudden? has the community turned into whiney 10yo whilst i was gone? xd

The first quote you have there is encouraging another player to harm themselves, something that Riot has said they do not want in their community. It is not about the age of players, but about creating an environment that is pleasant to play in.

The second quote you have, the one that is censored by the boards, is a crass sexual vulgarity and a rather offense of gender-based insult. This is also not acceptable, for the same reasons as the above.

If you are unable to have fun playing the game without being able to use this sort of language, I would recommend seeking another activity. Riot has decided to foster and encourage a respectful, sportsmanlike community, and if that is something you object to you don't have to participate.

Those percent-signs are censoring hate speech, and encouragements of self harm (alongside hate speech) are both considered zero-tolerance by Riot. If you use any of them and get reported, you're met with a 14-day ban right off the bat, with the next step being a permaban.

As an aside, your idea of "funny banter" is pretty godsawful skewed. None of that was funny.

Things like hate speech, racist comments, racial slurs and death threats/wishes are under a zero-tolerance policy and as such get an immediate 14-day ban as the first punishment. Under no circumstances is that kind of language acceptable here. It also doesn't matter if they all reported you as it only takes one report to flag a game for review. Next time if you want to joke around with things like racial slurs then do it in a full premade where you know you won't get reported for it. Otherwise find something else to joke around about.

P.S. There's no guarantee that the enemy team even reported you that game when you also had 4 other human players on your own team as well.

I don't know what kind of three year olds you have been around, but my 2 1/2 year old is still perfecting colors. That being said, try your language in an adult setting, like to some random in a bar, and see how fast your ass is either thrown out or beaten.

Kys is one those "zero tolerance" words. Typing it under any circumstance is typically an escalated two week ban.

Kys and homophobic slurs or whatever could be considered hate speech against someone who didn't choose to be the way they are (gay, male, female, retarded, etc ..) are automatically escalated. You should go read the summoners code, cuz yes, Riot is pretty strict about their chat system being used for insults and what not. For your own good, go read it or else you're just being willfully ignorant and you probably will end up permabanned if youre one of them kids that says shit like kys.

Seriously though, if you say something with the intent to hurt someone, it's probably going to land you in the penalty box. If the purpose of your communication is to insult, disparage, or otherwise hurt another player, don't press enter. It serves no purpose.

kys is considered extreme toxicity, and the number of people reporting you doesn't matter at all, you only need one report for the system to be triggered and multiple reports are completely irrelevant.

KYS in any form is not okay and isn't taken lightly, context won't be taken into account. The game mode doesn't matter either, even in coop vs AI you would have been punished as long as someone reported you.

From the summoner's code :

Remember, taking a jab at your friend in the middle of the game is a lot different than making a glib remark at a complete stranger. Someone who is unfamiliar with what you consider playful may take your comment as an attack and react unfavorably.

You don't know who is behind the screen on the other side, just don't be an asshole.
