I was permanently banned but all I've done was be inactive for 2 years? Need help.

I wanted to get back into LoL after a 2 year hiatus. I knew my account would have to be recovered because I got an email about a year ago saying if I didn't log in and play a game my account would freeze. I didn't play any games and just this week I tried to recover it. Player support just sent this

"The evidence we found on your account confirmed for us that the client played on was modified in a way to give an unfair advantage over others. We take the use of modifications very seriously and consider it an egregious act against the League of Legends community. The negative affect the account had on the community is irreversible and it had an extremely negative impact on the other players in the game. Since this is the case we will not be adjusting the permanent ban."

I am completely taken aback by this because I have never cheated and frankly wouldnt know how to do so if i wanted to. I've never used any other programs or anything. Anyone have the same problem before? Thanks.

did you ever visit "free rp/skins/etc" pages? did you ever give anyone your password?

sounds like someone was using your account in the meantime. usually this happens when ppl visit "free rp" pages, it ends with them being perm banned for 3rd party stuff

after 6 months you lose your summoner's anme and if some1 took it then your account is deleted

If it doesn't help, put in a support ticket and they'll be better able to assist you.

If your account was truly inactive then it might have been hacked and they'll need to go through that protocol with you but you have to actively go through the support ticket.

I have been banned today because my 3-month inactive account has been accused of using third party software. I am a pathetic gamer with a pathetic level who doesn't even know how to use a third party software. Plus I have not played the game for 3 months. So Riot is unable to differentiate between an inactive account that might have been hacked and an account that deliberately used third party software? The level at which I was, I think 14, is surely not that a big deal even if I was using third party software? And to think Ill get a life ban for it is laughable. What's the point of investing time in the game if thats how sensitive the people at riot games are!
