i myself went to h1 once, it took me i think 4 months to get back to h2. from what riot said if you get reported and you actually were toxic (not enough for a punishement, but enough for the system to see you as toxic) your honor progress gets slowed/stopped.

Yo I'm on level 0 - for weeks now. But I think I don't mind not getting my plat border at the end of the season or anything. If this pace continues, there won't be much left of this game at the end of the season, so I won't even bother reforming [slayer-jinx-wink]

I've been dishonored for 8 1/2 months maybe longer and just hit last cpoint before lv 1

Pretty sure honor progress is tied to reports ( so if someone reports you it resets it ) .. Don't quote me on that though

Disclaimer (I feel like this needs it): I have no idea what you did in the games between when you got unbanned and now.

But if you were toxic in them too, that might be why you're Dishonorable. And if you (did and) continue being toxic, you probably won't get a better honor level, if not forever, then at least for a very long time.

On the other hand, if you weren't, then it might be just that getting to HL 1 from HL 0 takes a lot of time.

If you were actively honorable, then something might be wrong. 3 months is just absurd.

I know it's not very easy, but if you're having a bad game, try this: summoner 13, and not this: summoner 14.

It's not based on time, it's based 4 factors:

  1. play lots of games
  2. don't get validly reported
  3. be honorable
  4. get team honor bonus

Many people whom have been in punished fail to execute on point#2, and they are doing small things to get them validly reported. A few examples of the small things that make it a valid report:

  • asking/ threatening for reports
  • defeatist attitude, saying it is gg, you are done, or saying you will go ago
  • calling people noob
  • rank/age shaming (calling people bronze/kid)

Of course there are more, but those the the common ones.
