Reporting people who are Phishing

Someone on my friends list send me a link to an obviously fake site, but they are swearing up and down it is a legit site from riot. i googled "Riot Christmas Event" and the first few links were all about scams. Just wondering if there is any way of reporting someone for this. The account in question was 100% adamant about it being a real site from riot (which it obviously is not) and telling me to just go to it. not sure if Riot will ban anyone for this but its worth asking.

I can insert the link to the site provided, but i thought it would be a bad idea and help propagate the shenannigans

A lot of people are fooled into believing these sites are real, these are usually high quality scams.

First off:

Thank you. You'd be surprised how many people fail to grasp this concept.

Secondly: I suggest writing a ticket. I'm not 100% certain if they will ban people for spreading the links, but there is a chance that the accounts in question are compromised, and Riot definitely locks up accounts when they are certain they've been hacked (until the original owner goes through account recovery, of course).
