My lights go out i get back in the game finish it and i get leaver buster. They take no account for what they do. They feel its fare to judge someone for faults other then their own. They need to allow players to voice their opinions on why the got disconnected especially if its their fault you did.
The problem is that there's no way to confirm the reason for a disconnect -- all Riot knows is that the connection stopped, and it's impossible for them to confirm why, since that's not data that their systems can collect (since it's not actually possible to collect that data accurately).
If we let people argue against their LeaverBuster penalties, everyone would and we may as well not have them at all.
They need to allow players to voice their opinions on why the got disconnected especially if its their fault you did.
And how will they verify the validity of these opinions? Do you want Rito to start calling every ISP to verify every little disconnect? Or call the power companies?
If your ISP disconnect you, you are welcome to call them and get the confirmation/log and send to Rito support.
The fact of the matter is that you did disconnect and you left your team 4v5 for however long you disconnect. I believe you would have to disconnect for over 5 minutes for LB to even kick in. That'd more than 5 minutes of unfun time for your other 4 teammates who have no idea if you will even come back.
I am not prepared for a surge in people afk in games at will and come up with an excuse afterward. Are you?
having afks on your team sucks too you know
In order to be punished for a random occurrence of DC you would have to have consistently DC'd lots of times before that. Why do you afk so much? Are you getting frustrated with teammates? Or is it a bad experience when you lose lane?
I'm not judging you yet, I'm just genuinely curious as to why you have DC'd so much in the past.

no op people would abuse that .. yes if your power goes out that sucks but the instances of that are probably very small and thee is no way to prove it .
Personally I think it needs to be improved and the penalties increased as peole have found ways to try to beat it .
They cant beat my afk report though.
