Got banned for no reason today and was not even active at all on this account. Forums can't help you overturn the ban. It may have been from account compromise.

Sarutobi2 votesJust to be clear they did give you a reason. So please stop this "I got ban for no reason" because they tell you right there in the note. With that said the 3rd party ban waves are for numerous things. Either you are lying and did in fact use scripts, or any other 3rd party program to help you in game. You paid for a service (like boosting) and said person used your account with the 3rd party programs. Or you were hacked and the person hacking you used scripts to get the account ban.
The two points warrants a punishment, the last is going to be hard to prove because you need to go back and see if any of the games in your match history aren't the games you played. If you can prove that you were hacked and someone got a hold of your account (without you giving it to them, or having a weak password) then they can help you and get you unban.

elduris1 votesThat's certainly quite possible. It sounds like the account was compromised and the person playing on it was using the cheats. Either way, account security is your responsibility. You may be able to open a ticket with Player Support and make sure that the account was indeed compromised, but I cannot say one way or the other if they will unban your account.
Please take the proper steps to secure any other accounts you may have. Verify your email address and use a complex password that you don't use for other services. Look into a password manager, the one I have is very nice and easy to use.

Im not trying to call you out, or say that you were, but the system caught something and thats the main issue. Too many people come on here stating they did nothing wrong and 9 times out of 10 they did something wrong. People lie all the time and especially if you have an account that you spend a lot of money on, or gotten rare skins you will do anything to get it back.
But the fact of the matter is that if anything there is something on your computer that triggered the detection. With 3rd party programs though while it could have been a mistake, they are pretty serious about it and always double, triple, possibly quadruple check to make sure the person they are banning actually did use 3rd party programs.

ph1234k1 votes3rd party programs, especially scripting is not something that happens by mistake. A script looks nothing like a human and they have the entire game recorded including all commands entered.
Also, you played 5, 6, 7 and 8 days ago. Not 2 weeks ago.
