Riots Community is Overpopulated by Toxic Players

Look I f*cking love this game. I've been playing since session 4 and I've finally hit my limit with how toxic league players are, especially the new Scrubs. Surprisingly, Riot hasn't created a setting where we could mute/remove not just all chat, but team chat too.

Many of you're players that are stuck in bronze, DO NOT belong in Bronze. Not only do we have to deal with Feeding teammates and Stupid LP gains and losses; we have to deal with not wanting to destroy our computers and give up on a game we love and work so hard to climb.

Yes we have bad games, because of good champ counters... but holy shit, I'm tired of being placed with shit talking monkeys.

Like its almost not worth trying to climb anyomore.

So... Why can't you just type /muteall once the game begins?

Also, i don't come across many toxic players when I play.

You haven't met someone like me then mate - 4 out of 4 accounts banned, so far only two permanently. Trolling + toxic is actually enjoyable so get jiggy with it or get the fuck out.

Yup, although I may be getting myself out of a situation before it begins.

If a lobby disbands, I leave the queue for a few minutes or just switch games. I may not know why the lobby disbanded, but if it was for a toxic player or a troll; I'm already gone.

Ok Trolls are definitely a hard part of low elo ranked when 1 loss sets you back 2.5 x what ypu gain from a win. That said I started season 6 and the number of **** laced tirades, and kys's I see in game have really gone down since then.

Well toxic is not the same as just being annoying. I mean sure I have Bronze Pro's in every game with their nonstop sage wisdom, but telling everyone to "group mid" or "you should build___" is not the same as the players that rage quit after first kill. (Even if all of their advice is completely wrong)

it's literally no different from any other online video game. you're just stuck with them for longer so it's easier for negativity bias to take extreme precedence

no its worse. most other game you can leave when youa re not having fun. this game makes you be trapped and that increases the toxicity quite a bit.

have you ever played call of duty? most people who aren't recording for a video use the mute button liberally. nobody in league uses the mute button because of the culture lyte created.

well call of duty is voice chat on a sound reliant game. no one wants to hear random kids screaming in their ear when they are trying to listen for enemies
