now i won't cry about getting banned maybe i derserve a ban tho i think a perma ban is too much but it dosen't matter what rly pisses me off that i was pissed off by fkn kids to flame others and somehow someway they are fucking clean..a ryze split pushing 24/7 won't group saying nobody helped him in lane so he won't help us in tf (thays only 1 example) or other ppl play nunu mid just bcz he was losing alot of games recently Or others that has 0 lp so they try new metas new champs and it ends up with them mostly feeding knewing they have nothing to lose (no matter what their team mates ll lose) or even others that might feed a kill at 50 mins game just bcz they gotta go and wanna finish game i met all those kind of ppl now what the fuck am i supose to report these ppl ? interinlly feeding ? verbaul abuse / offesive ? none of this is even the right reason they are fucking unreportable in lol not only they don't get banned Also the players that they pushed them to flame gets banned instead And not only that when riot rewards he dosen't give rewards to ppl who got chat resrticiton or anyother toxicity ban while these fuckers gets it whats next make them challengers ?..did riot fucked up that fuckingg hard and i actullay tried to be one of those bitches i started a new account and i played teemo supp 6 games in a row (Plat 5 ranked i climed back easly ^^) i wasn't inetnionally feeding but i was feeding (in a way or another this was on purpose) but riot never knows so nothing happend ...if you think for a second that the ppl that get perma ban leave the game or reform your fucking dreaming they only turn from flamers to bitchess which is much worse and im sure its not banable in LoL and i ll admit i have turned to a bitchh now so im pissing ppl off and doing these new metas everytime i can in rankeds ( 0 lp or ahead 1 game in promo or sometimes im just ready to lose lp) sinnce this is the way they wanna run the fuckingg game be my guest boys... i don't get it why they don't use a perma chat ban i know they don't give a fck about their toxic players or theeir players generally but they give a fuck about their money which is the case in the perma chat ban as it would resuly in :- 1-less ppl quting their game 2-ppl will stay pay them money (alot of ppl stoped paying them cuz they got banned) >>more money riot 3-When you have only 3 messages to use im sure you ll be forced to use them wisly to make good calls etc... so you won't be rly able to flame 4- PPL won't have to make new accounts to start flaming again so you ll probably get less number of toxic players in the game idk why they are not fukcing doing it are they pissing off their players on purpose ? this is a good deal for both sides (btw this account was banned about 7 months ago but i thought i can share...)

Riot essentially had permanent chat bans about a year ago and they simply didn't work.

The biggest reason for this, imo, is because one of Riot's main goal with their Player Behavior systems is reform, and permanent chat restrictions do not encourage reform. Players who have this have absolutely no incentive to reform, because even if they do, the punishment isn't removed. It didn't really matter how they behaved as the chat restriction would stay no matter what. So, they simply didn't change their behavior.

On top of that, when these players ran out of available messages to send, a large majority of them would simply resort to other forms of toxic behavior, like intentionally feeding, in order to vent their frustration. This is why Riot doesn't do permanent chat restrictions, as they simply do accomplish Riot's main goal, reform.

As for permanent bans, Riot does this when they feel that a player has shown no intention of changing their behavior after multiple warnings. As a result, they permanently ban them and want them to take their time and money elsewhere, because they don't want that behavior in their game.

Unfortunately, there's nothing to stop these players from creating new accounts, which sucks, but if they continue to exhibit the same toxic behavior, they tend to be punished again fairly quickly. If they don't, then awesome.

i never said the perma chat ban will solve all of the proplem but its defently better than a perma ban and ppl would 100% flame less(they might still flame yes but at least they flame less..)so you litterlay telling me its better to play like a bitchh instead of flaming ? cuz i see its obviosuly working in LoL

I'm going to have to disagree with you on it being better than a permanent chat ban. Sure, people would flame less in chat, but as I said before, they would simply resort to other forms of toxic behavior when they started to get angry.

Besides, Riot had something similar to this in the recent past, where players would receive continually increasing chat restrictions, to the point where it would take forever to work them off, so it was essentially a permanent chat ban. From Riot's own experience, they found this really didn't work, which is why they don't do it.

Also, if someone starts to flame you, flaming them back does not accomplish anything. All it is is fighting fire with fire, which only makes the situation worse. If someone is flaming you, the best response is to mute them and report them if you feel it necessary. If you want to interpret this as "playing like a bitch" then fine, that's up to you, but it is the proper, mature response to such a situation.

idk if this was riot's first year to start perma account bans but i know if compared the number of toxic players with the perma ban and chat perma ban im sure they ll find the chat ban better ... And if somehow the number of toxic players is less well.. thats bcz they turned into bitchess nothing more really...

No, this is not Riot's first year to start permanently banning accounts. They have had permanent bans since season 1, likely even before. And again, Riot has already had something very similar to a permanent chat ban, and they found that it simply didn't work for reasons I have already explained, which is why they won't do it.

Riot has already stated that giving people perma-chat ban will urge toxic players to Intentionally Feed instead to vent their anger.

And how can you even tell if it's a lie? You don't even come to this website everyday before you got punished.

Let me ask you this: Why do toxic players want to talk crap to his teammates? In my point of view (and everyone else's), it's simply because:

  • they are frustrated.
  • they want their teammates to feel bad about themselves for their inexperience.
  • they needed someone to be a punching bag.

Now place a perma-chat on them. Yes, they can't talk to their teammates anymore. But that feeling of anger residing in them just continues to grow bigger & bigger, but sad news for them, they can't let it out on their teammates because they can't see what they wrote anyway!

So now, what's their next possible solution to show their frustration? That's right! You guessed it! Intentional Feeding or AFK. Either solutions are the perfect choice to vent their frustration on their teammates.

alright place a perma ban on them . like you said they were only frustrated or they want their team mates to feel bad...Omg ppl might die for this you must understand some ppl cosider this more than a game.actually its busniess for some PPL ...ppl gave lol their money and dirt time expecting riot only to let them play...the feeling of losing 500 $ dollar and a plat 1 account was a horrible feeling i been throw nobody should go throw this and if they got frustraded and feeeded or went afk number of games (chat ban case)...now thats the case you perma ban them at least they can't complain when they get banned for that...As i said perma chat ban is better than a perma ban NOT A SOLUTION

In order for them to receive their permaban, they must go through these punishment tiers:

  1. 10 games chat restriction
  2. 25 games chat restriction
  3. 14 days suspension
  4. Permaban

So in order to reach a permaban status, one has to be constantly toxic to reach the first 3 punishment tiers. So technically, if they do reached their permaban status, it shows that they do not show any sign of reform at all, and might as well just be banned out of the game.

Losing their money or their high ranked account are completely neglected if they refuse to learn to stop talking crap to his teammates. They got what they deserved for their attitudes.

On the bottom left, you can see a "Messages available 1/5", which indicated that Dunkey already received a chat restriction before. And by making Dunkey said the "gun down in the streets like the degenerate he is" commented he admitted of typing, he escalated to a 14 days suspension. This is nothing unusual here, just a toxic player who got punished. And fyi, he's not permabanned.

And if they're going to survive in that game, they have to learn not to get triggered so easily. Spending money or getting high ranked will not give people immunity to bans. Remember that.

Not exactly what I mean. While you yourself were able to work of your chat restrictions, there were a lot of people who weren't because they just kept on piling on. There were players who were chat restricted for hundreds or even thousands of games, and after playing a through some of them, they would receive even more. That many chat restricted games would take years to work off completely, and the fact that more games were likely to be added onto that before they were finished just means that it would take even longer. This is what I'm talking about.

I would love it if you posted your "evidence" from a few posts ago. I enjoy watching people trying to prove that people don't get banned for trolling when 90% of the time its because their definition of trolling is "anyone on my team that doesn't win me the game".

As for this post, no a lot of us just watch the PB&M forums so we can help the people here that have questions. (and laugh at the people threatening to sue riot for banning them after they spent money. You would be surprised how many people that get banned due to toxicity are "lawyers" (also PB&M bingo is a thing)).

So he is bad at teemo support, that doesn't mean he is intent feeding or trolling.

What teemo support brings to the table isnt even kda, its free vision and map control. Maybe his shrooms didnt kill anyone, but they told your team enemy jungle isnt nearbye so you get free drag.

The fact that he wins games at all and actually has kills and assists at least shows that he is trying. He isn't getting banned is because his reports are getting thrown out as false positives. Which is good, because thats what they are.

You are saying two different things here. First you say that you are trying to win the game and not trolling, then you say that you are costing your teammates lp on purpose. If that is why he is doing it and there is a way to prove it based on what is doing or saying, which I did not see to be the case with your "evidence". He has a negative kda in ranked with teemo and plays him support. You don't get banned for having bad scores, you don't get banned for playing off meta.

First of all, i am not reading that. All of my comments were in direct response to your comments and discussion branched from there.

Your original post is poorly structured and I dont have the time to decifer it.

Second, last I heard it was 5% get punished for toxicity and a high number (dont remember exact number) reform. This was way back when though.

Third, I wouldn't mind too much. He probably had a good reason he didn't want to talk about, and it as pretty funny. It would be frustrating but it wouldn't ruin the game for me.

Graves with a cigar is a joke you might not understand. A real life thing might have interfered and it probably doesn't happen to him often.

Nobody is or should be punished because they had to leave a game for a couple minutes. It is doing it consistantly that makes it an issue.
