Im tired of being flamed, trolled, abused, for just playing the game. Every single game i play there is a toxic player just RAGING that i lost the 1v3 gank top lane..Or the adc that refuses to leash because i said im invading. Every single game i am trolled, flamed, camped. EVERY once in a while ill get a normal team that is nice, and we win. I cannot keep getting frustrated, chat banned etc because I dont want to "/muteall" . I should be able to type or play or just exist without being abused by 14 year olds. I dont understand why everyone is so blind to this cash grab game. Its all a hoax people. They ban legit 85% of the community every year but people keep coming back. There is a super low player base atm just look online. They ruined their game with dynamic que and now that everyone is jumping back to WoW, they decide to revert the changes. This company is EVIL, just do some research. Also, one of the main reasons LYTE got fired, because he said the automated punishment system didn't work, and needed to be changed to the tribunal. But they didn't want him to reveal this information, so they fired him. They were actually making huge increased profits by the amount of people banned by this system, and now they add fuel to the fire by promoting toxicity in any way they can while acting like they don't want it. Open your eyes people, and stop playing this game.

Not to even mention that the time you spent playing this game is time lost developing one(or even learning programming itself, because if you learn everything on the fly, your first game will be buggier than LoL itself), games aren't one day wonder.

You're wrong about me. I have touched programming. I went to school for it. I stopped doing it, but I have touched it..... And for how it's made... I read the patch notes and developer commentary. It's something. Not the best. And besides, making games was only part of what I said I'm interested in. The guy was saying to stop playing games and I foolishly got involved. Also there is more to making games than programming, anyone (worth their salt) involved in making games can tell you I bet. Look at all of the positions available just for Riot Games.

Maybe I'm wrong to ask this, but do you have a problem?

Maybe if I got really good at playing this game I could get involved with playtesting. Maybe I could get on a team. Maybe I could do something. There are options for gamers. If anything, this game is a hobby that I do enjoy. I meet a lot of people playing this game. Maybe I can have a positive influence on them. Maybe they can have a positive influence on me. I think it's happened, but I dunno.

I'll admit I'm not very talented. Maybe some day I can do something. If it's League of Legends related then it will really help to know the product, I imagine.... Does that seem unreasonable?

I'll give it to you that maybe if I spend all my time playing and none working then my work may suffer. I don't know. And yes if I try to program a game right now it will probably not be good.

Can't call myself good player or good person, but can confirm, especially since I got 25 (or whatever,I don't remember) game chat restriction for SARCASM, I barely ever log in to play this shit game with shit system, which takes everything out of context and gets triggered more than insecure feminist.

Also I am sure the toxic players just create new accounts and etcs. Not to mentiona 32,000,000 gamers and majority of them are toxic since over 60% are Bronze. That's just Life in the slumps.

I play aram and when troll / flamer starts up ... i just sit back and watch them rage as I ks them and sit behind tower shrug. Sure game is lost .. but I knew it was lost when they started trolling/flaming any way so just stay quiet and watch them rage and get upset .

I stopped playing summoner rift long time ago majority of toxic players play rank or normal summoner rift. You get couple groups of trolls in aram to but nothing like a guy raging at you cause your jungler and it is your fault he lost his lane.

Play a different game for a while. I was in the same situation as you two months ago, and I despised this game's community. At that point, I genuinely considered just leaving. Eventually, I took a load off and played other games that I genuinely enjoy. So, keep in mind that games should NOT stress you out, and if this game does so, then it's probably time for you to move on.

I don't understand why people feel like they have to be assholes on the internet. I mean, I /know/ why---the whole anonymity and no repercussions aspect---but, I just don't see why people /have/ to be that way.

These people would never act like that out in the real world as they would find quite a few of their teeth missing if they did, so this is their outlet. Personally I don't think Riot is harsh enough on these individuals.

Sure, there's a mute button, but let's be honest... most of the people that belittle others in game are 1) likely badly players anyway, 2) terrible human beings that you don't want as part of the community anyway... so why not just ban them immediately.

Either way I was just giving a solution to a problem. Personally I think it's more fun playing with friends. I also don't really do anything more than teasing friends when playing a game or making jokes. But then I see all those people talking about conspiracies and such. I don't know the truth obviously but I question the truth in this. What seems not at all toxic to you might seem so to other people. I don't know, maybe riot does random bans, I would hope not since I actually do enjoy this game from time to time.

What if they don't want to play with me? What if they don't like the game? What if they suck and it's more fun to play alone than with friends who suck? Getting random people who might suck is a lot better than confirmed suckyness 100% of the time.

If they don't want to do activities with you, they aren't exactly good friends, and maybe you should find new ones.

If you are so competitive that your enjoyment of a game is ruined because your friend who is trying their best is bad at the game then yes, that is a you problem.

Get new friends would be the solution. That is something you can control. Add the random who doesn't suck and is friendly, if you do so enough times some of them are bound to stick.

That being said, I never even said everyone should follow my advice. I offered an alternative, not a command. You seem to just want to argue for the sake of being negative, which, meh, each to their own. I hope you have some good experiences playing the game either way.

I have a friend of 24 years; easily my best friend... he doesn't play League. He's a gamer, went to school to program video games and writes software for a living... but League just isn't his thing.

Good friends don't have to like everything you do nor do they have to participate in everything you do.

I'm pretty sure he meant to keep making friends (in LoL) until you find some that want to play LoL with you, if the problem is not having friends to play LoL with...

I don't think he meant (long-time) friends who don't play LoL are bad friends. You probably share other activities or things with your friend. I dunno.

In general, if your friend doesn't want to do activities, aka anything, with you, then they are probably not a good friend. Why is that hard to understand? I'm not saying league. I never said "if they don't play league with you, they are not a good friend."I said if they really reject doing all sorts of activities with you, and you really don't enjoy their company, as Icy Spectre makes it seem, then why are you friends?

"Playing with friends" would mean playing with someone who plays the game that you know, or someone you met on league. My statement was in response to Icy Spectre saying "what if they don't want to play with me?" I assumed that they do play the game and just don't want to play with him specifically.

Which is not exactly friendly.

It shouldn't be a REQUIREMENT to play with friends to have an enjoyable gaming experience. Your "solution" is akin to me saying "hey don't want to get mugged at night, just walk with four other people" --- Sure, that's a solution I guess, or you could cut down on the criminals... in this case... those engaging in toxic behavior.

Even if you cut down on criminals there is still a chance of being mugged. I dunno. Yes it's good to cut down on toxicity, but you probably can't eliminate it. Maybe you can.

It's not required to play with friends. I play solo a lot and it's not bad. I'd prefer friends, but solo is alright. I dunno. I'm trolling.

I just offered a possible solution. I didn't say "IF YOU WANT TO HAVE FUN YOU MUST PLAY WITH FRIENDS"

You can say cut down toxic behavior, that's another solution, but in the end, you can't just get rid of everyone being toxic. There are some that's going to slip through. And the best way to try and avoid that if you DO get angry about it would be (at least I think) to play with friends.

Again, I offered a POSSIBLE SOLUTION, NOT THE ABSOLUTE. I don't know why everyone is arguing with me saying, "what if I don't want to", "why should I have to?" You don't have to, and if you don't want to, that's your thing. It's just a suggestion. Everything has tradeoffs, you could solo queue, you'll say that it tests your skills, or you like playing alone, the con is you may encounter toxic people. On the other hand you can play with friends, and maybe you'll get less toxic people, it might be more fun, or friends may help you stay not tilted, but maybe you don't like it, you don't want to play with them, you shouldn't have to play with them, blah blah blah.

But that's not the point I was making.
