Instant 14 day ban... No restriction messages whatsoever

I got a 14 day ban when I've never got banned before and no message that if I continue this attitude I will get banned. I'm not saying that I wasn't worth lets say a 7 days ban, but 14? Never lost my shit more that that game. Teammates completely ignoring me from the get go ,giving a 7/0 lead at start team adc disconnecting all the time and being at my promos I completely lost it at some point.(Btw enemy team had 5 ad characters and I was the only one that build armor). These two parts. Riot has a zero tolerance policy in regards to hate speech and calls to self harm (although the latter doesn't apply here). Simply put, that kind of language does not have any place in League. One use will get your account to a 14 day ban from nothing.

Repeated use of the f word and general to toxicity. The first is what got you the ban.

The repeated use of calling his team trash would probably be the biggest reason of what got him banned, not the uses of the f word, although in this case they were also part of the problem. I could say the f word or any other swear all game, if it's not used to harass anyone else it won't cause a ban, and if it did it would easily get lifted from a manual review.

The “f” word here is hate speech, as such it’s prohibited in all contexts in League.

Now I believe I need a clarification. I'm trying to say that the "f" word, as a word is not necessarily bad nor hate speech in itself. It's a strong word that's for sure, a word I personally am not fond of using. In a situation where I use the "f" word to emphasis and not to harass is it still a problem? (example sentence: " 'f', that's a lot of damage." Or rather, is the "f" word on it's own hate speech and/or unacceptable, or does it need additional context?

As I wrote this is has come to my attention that the "f" word originally implied in EvilDustMan's post is referring to the slur used for gay men (which I don't need an answer to my question, it in itself is a slur and hate speech under really any circumstance), as opposed to the common swear word of which I was thinking of and referring to, although I am still curious as to what you will say.

Cursing, such as fuck, shit, damn, etc. are not prohibited unless they are being used as a part of toxic behavior.

Are you thinking of fuck? He's referring to the other f word. The one that children of the 90s (me) used growing up to imply that someone is being a douche or a pussy. I've never hated anyone for the way they were born. Hate is a strong word that people throw around in place of dislike. But apparently I was spewing hatred for people when I was a little kid because you know, people are mind readers. But yes Riot considers the F word (Not fuck) to be hatespeech.

Right, when I say f word, it's because trying to do an alternate spelling is relatively hard when all the other versions are banned. I MEAN the slur used for gay men. That is, in fact, why he got elevated to a 14 day ban.

If that wasn't there, this alone probably would have been worth a punishment, yes, but not escalation to 14 day.

Ah. Well I was under the impression that it was the common swear f word of which you were referring to. Then I agree with you that that is for sure what escalated it to a 14 day ban.
