Why are trolls acceptable in the community?

So I just recently finished a "wonderful" match of league of legends. We were in Champion Select and I banned Ashe because why not. It turns out that one of my teammates (who got adc as his role) was an Ashe main. After lots of vulgar language he thought that he would make me pay by taking my role. So I already locked in Poppy JG, next pick he locks in yi jungle and flames some more.

We get in game and my teammate thinks it's smart to follow me around all game and try to take all my camps. After 20 mins of doing so he gets bored and thinks that intentionally feeding is better for his time. So he would campaign in all chat that I'm the one that should be reported because I "trolled" in champ select. He said if I didn't get banned that I would continue to "ruin" games in Champ Select.

I am only saying this for two reasons 1.) There is a massive chance he will not get banned if I single handedly report him and the tribunal lets him ruin more players experience. 2.) Why is riot focusing on people who call my teamate an "Autistic retard that should get cancer" when that never would've happpend if he was banned for ruining everyones player experience

-Yes I've been banned for being toxic and yes I'm still salty about it, but this is getting ridiculous how many trolls I've run into and not one message thanking me for reporting them

Thanks :) -BennyBebo (Now known as NidaLeesin6969)

  1. You can't mention names of people you are providing evidence against. It's called name and shame and will get the post removed.
  2. The tribunal doesn't exist. There is an automated system with some manual intervention.
  3. There is absolutely no excuse you can make for calling someone an "Autistic retard that should get cancer".

I'm new to this forum discussion so my apologies for stating his name I have removed it and will keep that in mind next time I make a post, secondly I never called him an autistic retard that should get cancer but others did. I merely stated that for the case of my arguement

Trolls aren't accepted in League. Those kinds of people are the kind that the decent members of this community want out, since the trolls and bad kinds of players tend to represent League much more than even the pros or even the nice people in League.

The thing is, there are way too many people in League. An apparent 39 million people are registered in League, so that's way too much to moderate. So, while trolls aren't accepted in League (minus Trundle ), the community is too large to catch every single troll.

"Autistic retard " I get called this 24/7 even by my own teammates. I've had it I officially disabled Allchat.

i dont mind trolls because i believe everyone has a right to play a video game however they want to play it.

if someone wants to lose there is no way you are goign to be able to make them try to win. just accept it.

besides this is a matchmaking game. in a matchmaking game you will lose 50% of your games no matter what. so what if that troll gave you an easy loss. he also gave you a future win. that is how matchmaking works.

Gameplay trolls do get punished. It's just that it's more difficult to track and detect at times since the system has to be sure that the person in question is actually trolling rather than just having a bad game or two. Don't believe me? Well Here are two examples of gameplay trolls being banned. Yes it's just two examples, but it proves that they do get punished.
