Looking to be smited - 14 day ban for this?

I get it, I wasn't the best teammate. But I can't understand how this was remotely bad enough to warrant a ban. I've personally reported WAY worse people with no consequence (assuming that instant feedback is actually working anyway).

These were the chat logs presented to me. Unedited because I legitimately feel I have nothing to hide.

In both games people were flaming the shit out of me. Sure, I didn't smile and wave as they took turns verbally beating me into the ground, but I do not feel that I was so excessively toxic that I should be banned (especially considering that the other players didn't even get the slightest punishment). Seems extremely disproportionate to me and I'm open to getting smited.

I'd love to see a smite on this. From what i've gathered you were trying to keep a team afloat and had some difficulty?

Have you had a previous chat restriction? There's a fair bit of toxicity in these logs, enough that it would warrant a punishment, but what the punishment is would depend entirely on which level of punishment you were already at.

From the Instant Feedback System FAQs:

PUNISHMENTS GENERALLY FOLLOW A BASIC ESCALATION PATH:

  • First Offense: 10 Game Chat Restriction
  • Second Offense: 25 Game Chat Restriction
  • Third Offense: Two Week Suspension
  • Fourth Offense: Permanent Suspension

However, it is possible to skip to a Two Week or Permanent suspension based on the severity of the behavior in the game. Excessive negative behavior can result in a Two-Week or Permanent suspension at any time without having a chat restriction on the account.

So, if you had recently had a 25 game chat restriction, then this would naturally progress up to a 14 day suspension. If you haven't had a recent chat restriction, and these are the full, unedited logs, then you might want to send in a ticket to Player Support and ask them why you account was escalated.

Is this toxic? Yes. Is it the worst I've seen? Not by a long shot. Do I think it deserves an instant 14 day suspension? Nope. But, if you were already at the second offense, these logs would push you to the third.

My god, what did you do wrong? Even if he was chat restricted before, he didn't do anything I'd consider toxic, tried to keep his team from full tilting. I think what got you banned was previous 25 chat restriction + saying "worthless" "suicided" "i cant hold sht lmfao" "fking" Also i'm pretty sure riot auto system hits people who chat excessively as well.

But I don't think you will get unban since even the guy who got banned for saying "dude all game you called me a F**** " "report X on my team, he called me a F*****" was still banned even after posting on forums.

than there was someone who told another player to kys on aram for an execute revive and riot instantly banned him even after he clarified in teamchat, I mean sure they did UN-Ban him and then told him to never do it again like it was his fault for using a legit strategy, just goes to show riot is triple-downing on this automatic system response system that a lot of player don't like.

Sure I get the need for auto ban system, but for words deemed heinous by the community and ONLY those words. So far the system seems to get a lot of false positives on things the community deems fair or appropriate.

Yeah this ban is not exacly justified. I've seen and done WAY worse shit than this. Even when i started playing (in S4) and a couple more years i was really toxic. I never got a single chat ban. The only ban i ever got was because of the old leavebuster.

You're implying what Leona is doing is so horrendous you can't believe it. That's insulting. You're also implying your other teammates are bad for not taking issue with it as well.

Again you're insulting a teammate's intelligence and then insulting their honor simply because you disagree with their tactics.

At this point you're harassing about the issue, even if you're correct that it isn't your fault. Personally I think it's fine to defend yourself from their accusations if you aren't otherwise breaking the rules, but here you're clearly harassing which breaks the rules. Riot seems to think people are in the wrong merely for defending themselves because that's "arguing with your teammates" and "chatting a lot instead of playing the game" which I think is bullshit but I still think you crossed the line here regardless.

Also just FYI Leona support solo pushing a lane isn't necessarily wrong. While I personally doubt the situation comes up often and thus I doubt it was correct here, I believe there are times where such a thing makes sense. She has 2 aoe basic abilities and come mid game if she has tier-2 boots (especially mobis) and a bunch of factors come together it makes sense for her to go turn a wave pushing towards your base into one pushing towards the enemy base before grouping up again. But if she's straight up clearing the whole wave, trying to last hit well, and then staying to push a high hp tower... yeah that's probably just incorrect. But poor play is not an excuse to harass or flame people.

You don’t deserve a ban at all; I’ll admit I’ve done worse, much worse without a ban (back in S6 when I was super toxic).

I guess the Riot employee was just having a bad day when he looked at the logs... Because you never directly insulted anyone, you never called anyone a name, you never gave death threats. And as far as I know cursing is fine as long as it isn’t directed towards another player as an insult.
