Is it just me or is this new ban system terrible?

I got banned because my team was salt about losing a game, and they all blamed me. Three people went top and gave me 0-1 lane partner a triple kill; then blamed me for losing, and proceeded harass me all game. The entire team was toxic from the get-go, yelling at each other from the beginning, but because my lane got three free kills I ended up doing the worst and they agree to all report me. So now im banned??? Like what
