I just won 11 games in a row, climbed from S3 to S1 promos, got a free win, and promptly got an afk Yasuo and an afk Jayce in my two promotional games. It's fucking time for Riot to do something about afk players in Ranked games!!!!! Nobody gives a fuck about normals!!!!! But in Ranked, it should not count as a lost promo game since we can't carry a 4v5!!! HOW IS THAT FAIR!!!! HOLY FUCK RIOT!!
Good plan, no way this would be abusable by duos.
Likewise, are you prepared to not get a win if the enemy had an afk? Statistically speaking, there's a higher probability you will play against an afker than have one on your team (assuming you don't afk).
But what if the afk teammate was an incredible play by the enemy?
I recently made a jayce afk in a game but killing him 4 times in a row while he was walking back to lane. After the 4th kill (and tower being destroyed) he put in all chat "gg noob team" and went afk.
Would you have that not count as a promo game? Even though the enemy team won so hard that someone DID afk. Or would you rather they troll and int?
So why not get rid of trolls and inters in promos too...
