Hextech crafting causing too much stress (and how to fix)

My friends and I were really excited about the hextech system at launch. Since then, our hype has died down.

We have found that people are becoming increasingly selfish and toxic in games. Everyone trying to steal kills and farm to pad their stats to get those S's. We joked that we would go back to ranked to have a fun game. It's just becoming really difficult to work as a team when everyone is now in it for themselves.

FIX: Make an S unlock a box. An A unlock 1/4 of a box. A B 1/8 of a box.

We know Riot won't hear us out because this would mean less people will be buying the boxes, and thats not good for business. I just implore them to look at the big picture and see that this could ruin the rift.

I can see possibly making an A like, 1/8th of a chest. Or perhaps a small amount of Orange Essence instead. For anything lower than A, though, I don't think a reward makes sense.

But the system is built to strongly encourage queuing with people, since an S by anybody on your premade will give you all a chest for that game. I'd almost be tempted to say that could be pushed out to be across the whole team, premade or not. That way, if you've got one guy doing really well, you can funnel stuff onto that player and the whole team would be rewarded for it. Doubt they would do this though, since it kills off the encouragement to play as a group.

I found that much more people play their main champ regardless of which role they are.

Just like Ahri top, Nocturne mid , Soraka top , Kayle adc

Lots of games saw these "strange choice" but end up surrender at 20 item 3070

never seen this happen before the hextech system at launch.

I can't dodge many of games since the time penalty,but end up waste 20 mins............

Things will settle down after the "new" factor wears off. I honestly don't know why everyone is so worked up over them, they're fun but they're not that fun.

As for KSing, I play Mid/ADC (read: I KS a lot naturally) and my wife plays Support. She's gotten more S-ranks than me, not KSing.

I don't know what part of NA you're playing on. I haven't seen this behavior or anything akin to it, ever, not even with the launch of Hextech Crafting. Also, Player Behavior and Moderation is probably the wrong board for this type of thing. Maybe point yourself to This place? Might prove to be a more.. accepting place, and the gameplay aspect of Hextech Crafting wouldn't be buried by "Please Unban Me"
