Permanently Banned

Hello,

Just about 20 minutes ago I got the Permanent Ban message. While I do realize, yes this was my fault and I am man enough to admit it, there should be possibility of reformation. I am currently dealing with real life Anger Management courses to get over my anger issues and lucky enough video games are a good escape from things that cause all of those problems. Unfortunately there are times where you just simply get so frustrated you cant help but to lash out which I often do, but I AM getting help for it. I would just like to know if there's anyway to get one more shot at redemption with a catch. Instead of permanently banned, just provide me with a permanent chat ban. That way even if the anger gets flared up I will be unable to send out the negativity to other people in game and just keep it to myself. I understand that there is a slim chance that this could even happen but hey, IWillDominate was able to get one more chance at redemption so why cant I?

Thank you for taking the time to view this even if Riot doesn't.

Sincerely yours,

Freesm Jash AkA Jmaster6193

I'm sorry, but it's not going to happen. Riot does not give out permanent chat bans, and assuming you went through the normal tier of punishments (2 sets of chat restrictions and a 14 day ban), you already had multiple chances to reform your in game behavior before this permanent ban. If you did not go through, then Riot deemed your behavior severe enough to escalate you to a permanent ban.

As for IWD's ban, he was banned from the LCS years ago, and he was given a second chance to be in the LCS. However, he did not get back any of the accounts that he had permanently banned. He had to start from a fresh account, and you are free to do the same.

IWD was unbanned from LCS, yes. He has alternatives. Non-LCS players don't have a fallback (casual/soloqueue for IWD).

Am i saying his behavior is justified? no

Should everyone be given a chance to reform themselves after actually being punished? Yes

Let's face it. Riot's history of banning toxicity isn't exactly a good one. Up until recently, i was convinced riot did nothing with player reports and just let toxicity run amok - though that is a result of their lack of transparency.

Non-LCS players don't have as many options. Let's not try to deny that fact. A casual player having their account banned means way more to them than it does to pro players (ex or not) because they have more options in terms of either getting their account back (riot has always had some sort of bias toward pro players, and they have seen the consequences) or just making a new account.

Pro players (can and im willing to bet have) had accounts given to them. You can't possibly sit there and tell me every single one of IWD's (or any pro player that has been seen playing on many different accounts)accounts were 100% leveled up by him and him alone. I realize I digress a bit, but it does have some relevance here.

Edit: I also know he deserves what happened to him, let me just make that clear.
