It's definitely negative and argumentative and there are plenty of times when you could have just let it go..

And while it's definitely not the worst I've seen, I'm sure others will be around to remind you that you're not banned off just one game.. There has to be a history of negative behavior. You have to get chat banned a couple times before you get temporarily banned and then perma-banned. So if I had to guess, I'd say if we saw a full history of your chat, we'd see some other, more excessive forms of toxicity. It just stings a bit more when the game that tips the scales isn't even one where you're all that bad.

They'll also say "only you control your enter button.. context doesn't matter.. yadda yadda.."

I agree but the only game on my reform card is this one, which kind of implies it has to be the worst in a while right? Aren't bans supposed to be harsher than restrictions? And it's a more than unfair that I only responded to someone that lied and flamed me and I got banned for it.

Chalk that up to rito's dumb system/support staff, I guess. I'm not sure how it all appears since somehow I've avoided getting punished. I always assumed they showed three games in the chat history..

Punishments escalate as you go. It's like a 5 game chat ban, then a 25 game chat ban or something, then a two week ban, then a perma ban. You can skip tiers for harsher language. But it's not "harsher penalties are only for harsh crimes." Repeat offenders get worse punishments regardless of their crimes.

So if this is your two week ban, you better start flaming people smarter, because you've got a big target on your back now.

Wonderful, my game gets trolled and for the 8th time today I get flamed and the snot nosed little shit gets away with it while I end up punished without a single overtly toxic thing

Don't worry, they'll get punished too.. Eventually... As long as they ruin several more games.. In a short enough period of time... And people report them... But you'll never no because rito's system has shit for clarity. Good luck out there in the real world. Maybe getting banned will be the best thing that's ever happened to you.

Stop using chat period. Use the mute function. This is the best fix for 1) stopping trolls and 2) climbing the ladder.

There is no reason more than one thing can't be considered toxic. While there are certainly chat logs of people being worse than you, yours are also unacceptable.

Yup, my thoughts are if you're spending the gsme typing, you're not spending enough time playing. This is a really long chat log, especially for a game that seems like it ended early.
