Quick question! Riot feedback plz

Hi. quick question. I have a friend of mine who played league a couple years back. (had not met her yet) the group of friends and I play league our down time from working on a board that we all met on and staff on. She is pretty salty toward Riot because a couple years ago she was banned for buying a skin. But that's not the funny part. She helps run a summer camp, and she also has lots of friends over seas. She was currently doing a summer camp when a skin sale came out (she did research to see upcoming) and she could not access a computer with league to get the sale, so she made the mistake of having a friend who was over seas log into her account to buy the skin after she pre loaded the RP a week before. Banned. (fyi this is before the tribunal was even around) Now "I" know this is a big No No. but she is kinda... blonde. what is the proper steps that I would be able to tell this story and have the ban lifted? Seeing how I don't know why you guys wouldn't, it was a harmless mistake she wouldn't do again. I would greatly appreciate a response so we can get her with the crew and Pwn some scrubbies. Thanks! TJ
