Contesting Chat Restriction

The Hecarim and Nasus who reported me were a duo queue pair, they had camped me and flamed me during the previous game, so I had a bad game. In the next game, I was on the same team as them, I called top and locked my champion, and then Nasus said he was going top because of how bad I was last game and he wouldn't allow me to top. We ended up duo top lane because neither of us would budge. The entirety of the lane phase consisted of me trying to 1v2 the lane because Nasus refused to do anything btu last hit minions, and outright walked away from ganks or fights and laughed. He said, "you're not my team mate and I only help team mates" In response to me asking why he wasn't helping me. Then when I accused him of outright refusing to assist me in any way, he responded with " Yep, that's what i'm trying to do" outright admitting that was his intent.

I feel like I dealt with this situation pretty fairly considering the circumstances, and they reported me for simply going top, because they were a duo queue reporting, I was instantly chat restricted. This seems highly unfair and a serious problem with the report system that 2 people can report and have a player instantly restricted. Ideally i'd like my restriction removed as I don't feel it's deserved, however If that's not possible some feedback on where I went wrong would be helpful, thanks in advance.

I understand that towards the end of the game I was a bit sarcastic in my remarks, but understand that this is an entire game of frustration and I still feel like it wasn't outright rude or hateful what I said, the Nasus and Hecarim's comments are FAR more disgusting, however I can't view them to post them.

Sadly, Riot absolutely LOVES punishing victims of abuse, they want you to take the abuse without saying a word. even if you said nothing wrong, you still get punished for replying to harassment. Just how this company works.

First of all it only takes one report for a game to be reviewed. Multiple reports foesn't make the system check the game any harder.

Second, the context of the match does not matter. Even if you were going through a tough situation you still made the game worse for the two that weren't involved. You should have just played the game out, not said anything to them and reported them at the end of the game.

You were banned for the following:

Harassing teammates for the sole reason that they were perceived to be a duo group. Harassing teammates for the same issue over and over instead of using chat constructively. Continuously discussing reports (either receiving or giving) during the game.

The combination of these things made the game less enjoyable for other players. Furthermore, it likely wasn't the "duo" that reported you, but someone else on your team, or someone on the other team if you were spamming all chat with these comments.

Your chat does not only negatively affect who it is directed at, it affects the other 4 or 9 people in the game. If you are spamming useless, non-constructive comments, you are not utilizing chat effectively, and you are hurting the game for everyone else in it.

Sorry to see yet another person falling to the same trap. Talking back often gets you into trouble, because everyone is responsible for their own behavior.

When you meet negative people like those you describe there is one easy remedy; mute them, don't talk to them or about them, and report them after the match. If they start ping spamming you, you have ping mute to use against them these days.

You got away with chat restriction. Live with it and follow the above guideline from now on and you will do fine.

calling top doesn't mean you are top.

there are no such rules in blind pick
