It gets so annoying.

I've been playing League of Legends for a few years now, playing jungle. I made a smurf because I thought it'd be cool to have a fresh start on the game and get away from all the blaming and toxicity at a higher level. That's why it gets so annoying when I'm playing in Level 10 draft pick and someone starts to get at me.

I was 5/2, playing Warwick jungle, and all of a sudden a Miss Fortune comes at me in the chat saying stuff like "You have to protect me." "Use your E correctly." She was basically telling me as Warwick JG to, while we are running from the fight, for me to go in and commit suicide to save her. I tried to explain it's not my job in this comp or almost ever to commit suicide for you, but she wouldn't listen.

It started getting more intense (no swearing). "Learn how to play your role." "Why can't you play correctly?" It was kind of annoying because I had spent so much time trying to explain to her and she still didn't want to listen to me. She just wanted to be right and be better than me. I started to get angry, I wanted to Caps Lock flame her, it was really hard for me to keep my cool.

It's just so annoying that even in LEVEL 10 DRAFT PICK people are still getting mad. People might be actually just starting and trying to learn the game and they have someone flaming them to learn how to play, when that's why they are there. Learning how to play. I thought things would be different down here but it just isn't. The MF continued to tell me "Learn your champion" "Know your role", and when we lost she said I single-handedly lost the game by not protecting my ADC. There was even a game when I was Level 6 or so, someone on my team called someone else (not even a smurf) "a f***king bronzie". I don't understand.

That's all I wanted to get off my chest. If I lose the next game I will just freak out. Thanks if you read and replied.

You made a new account, but you were not a new player. Matchmaking algorithms are very capable nowadays and can quickly detect "smurfs" or returning players on new/low levelled accounts. Except for your first couple games (and we're talking first 1-2 games), where you'd be matched virtually randomly, you would have been matched with returning, non-new players.

Now, we should consider who these "non-new" players mostly are - they are either players who have played before and are returning after a punishment, honor drop, low priority queue, etc. or they are players who've been in higher levels and experienced the toxicity before.
