Well I guess that's enough league, submitted my ticket on a perma ban, got a great response,

"you talked about the game itself in a passive aggressive manner"

to put anything in context, First comment to all chat was the enemy team cause they were all chatting so much, how serious do we have to be? "short blue mother ****" was in reference to both teams talking about smurfs in under level 30 games

Permabans are handed out with 1 side of chat logs only, nothing is taking in context, so thats good to know, i had way worse, and actual insults and physical threats sent to me when i posted why i was banned in the first place before i submitted my ticket, i find that to be quite amusing to,

openly disclosed the "full logs" were on boards, regardless of those, riots email reponse outlined the exact lines that were used by me to issue the ban.

Why don't you stop dealing with Riot game bs and move to Dota 2. Not like you have to pay money to have every character, sucks to learn but once you learn it you'll never look back at this outdated bs ban system. The worst they do in dota 2 is silence you, unless you troll then we put you into lower priority with the rest of the trolls so they can live in a hell of their own design. Also the game is a lot funner since the items actually mean something and until you get to ranked no one really cares about winning since the game is really difficult for new comers since it is so in depth compared to league's gameplay. Best part you usually get a higher class of player since the natural barriers in learning the game in dota 2 keep out the riff raff unlike league.

If you want to play Dota 2 and need help learning just reply and I'll hit you p with tutorials and might be up to teaching you the game during the weekend.

Anyone wanting to try to reply other than OP, I'll just not really care and ignore it unless you also want to get into Dota 2/ask about it's advantages over league.

But if you decide to stay that is on you, only you can decide what is fun for you. Despite getting these kinds of people and dealing with them, you can have fun while you get banned for reacting. If you can take that then more power to you and I wish you luck. I'll be helping those that can't do that anymore, all you have to do it ask. I'll be sure to help any up the cliff that asks, and hope that one day this community will learn to embrace anger with compasion and not more anger.

This is a win-win situation. Riot and the community doesn't want you in their game, and you don't want to be in it either.

Though I will correct you on dota 2's report system. It's based purely from the quantity of reports. The advantage of this is people don't wait for a system to review the situation, but this leaves the system open for abuse if groups of players use their reports for people who just play extremely poorly.

Valves's method of minimizing this abuse was to only allow players to have X reports in Y time. But this opens up another problem that you may not have a report available when your game is being trolled should you come across an unlucky streak of assholes and already used them all up.

Well we could do like people do in league anyway and just mute them. You also get your reports back if you do in fact find someone that is trolling/flaming. So you can report the next troll you find. Also lol uses a quantity system also to flag accounts and ban them. There is no way for the automated bans to be lifted either in most cases, but I will give you support might review some of them if you put in enough tickets to them. But you can't say every bans is looked at by hand there are way too many for this and way too many chat logs to review. Dota2 also goes by a number system but at least their penalties aren't near as harsh and can be worked off eventually/don't affect your ability to play the game so a support system isn't really needed to review cases since in any case you can still play the game but without certain features.

So when you do find a troll and they get punished you are free to help police the community more and if you only report trolls and are always found to be correct then your reports actually have more weight in the system. Usually it also takes a fair amount of reports in a short time for you to be found trolling so abuse usually doesn't happen. Personally, I have never gone to lower priority but know some others that have horror stories about trying to claw their way out and how they got scared straight into not ever dodging or trolling again. If you want to know what they mean, troll in dota 2 and try to get out of Lower priority, good luck to you and may gaben have mercy upon your soul.

Also the chances of finding several trolls back to back in Dota 2 is very low, but in the end what does them being punished have to do with the game you were trolled in? Even if you do report them in lol they might not be punished if they didn't do it blatantly. But the system works a lot better than league's I can tell you since I rarely ever see trolls since lower priority is something that will make you rethink your choices. You don't have a lower priority that keeps the trolls in fear or have a way to keep them in check. Heck they can bot accounts and/or buy them for cheap and be right back to trolling. Heck they add insult to injury as they bot to troll more since it effectively trolls the newbies on the way to trolling the lvl 30s.

In the end usually our trolls get dealt with since enough people will report them and they will be stuck in lower priority. Yours just can hop on their next account for $30/ones they created from botting and be straight back to trolling your system all over again. Your flamers also don't ever get dealt with like ours do and get perma-silenced so they can play but are not inclined toward making new accounts and actively ruining more games like your system does. Your flamers do the same thing as the trolls and hop on another account until they get banned after about 30+ games and then they are free to start it all over again. They bot and repeat muddying your community every step of the way.

One thing to note, while the chat logs you are sent have only your logs in them, I do not believe that only yours are what is viewed by Riot. The old Tribunal certainly had access to the full chat logs (which we read with popcorn in hand), and I would assume that Riot staff still does, especially as they have access to pre- and post- game chat lobby information as well.
