The Reintroduction of Tickets

You may think this is a salt thread, but I am willing to guarantee that every single competitive player in LoL has experienced that one player, that one feeder that you ask to report..... and in response everyone in lobby honors him.

Now, I understand that the League community is toxic (no, its not Tyler1's fault, get a grip) but how are supposed to be able to properly punish trolls (and I don't mean intentional feeder trolls, I mean the smarter trolls)? As far as I know, the only way to get a troll banned is by playing with 3 or 4 people you know and reporting them together. Which is why I think that it is in RIOT's best interest to reintroduce a system where you can send a ticket requesting surveillance of a summoner name.

Yes, this seems logistically impossible. But here is the thing, the execution of the system does not need to be perfect. What I am trying to say is that the feeling of sending that ticket to RIOT will definitely calm the tilting nerves of a lot of players... AND, imagine that one troll who gets tens of tickets sent, gets replayed, and gets banned while everyone who sent a ticket gets a notice. THAT, right there, would feel so great.

Finally, I know that I need to play better (hell, anything short of perfection won't win and perfection is about a 60% win rate), but, as everyone knows, there are games that are impossible to win. I said it. And I don't think there is a single person in the community that would disagree, as a matter of fact I'll make that the poll.

Anyway, RIOT, if you read this, bringing in a ticket system that can report summoner names would be great, even if it was just a placebo (if you understand what I mean)

There are definitely games that are impossible to win. But by that same token, those things that make it impossible for you to win happen on the other team making it impossible to lose. We just don't see them readily since we typically feel like we deliver the wins and look for others to blame for the losses.

You can already submit a ticket to player support, if the player's attitude was really that egregious. Watching a replay of the game won't tell the support specialist anything they wouldn't know by reading chat logs and looking at match history. So, you've pretty much got the system you were hoping for already.

I can say with certainty that there is nobody I have wanted to report who then got honored.

Also, multiple reports in the same game don't stack.

Let me stop you right here.

How you react to others calling for reports is up to you, if they are on the enemy team, I flat out refuse to report something I don't see.

If I don't see the chat, I'm not reporting it, and I let the enemy team know that.

For anything else, I also let the person requesting for reports that "fishing for reports is considered harassment against you".

Depending on the person requesting for report's overall attitude, I may or may not report them at the end of the game.

That doesn't mean I don't report toxicity when I see it. Insert the The "why not both" meme when both parties are harassing each other.

There also is no reason to fish for reports, as group reports have the same weight as 1 report. It just flags the system to check for toxicity.

For the record, it is very very very rare that I encounter a true troll. Even more rare to see a smart troll.

Now I'll let you know ahead of time that Tribunal 2.0 is in the works, made to compliment and build on top of the current system. Probably won't be out until the new client is released . hopefully we will get some more visibility for the ones providing the reports.

Wait what?

that one feeder that you ask to report..... and in response everyone in lobby honors him.

Why would that happen?
