So, why am I being punished because Comcast can't get their shit together. I normally don't have any connection issues that most Comcast customers have(knock on wood) granted the service isn't great but I know when I can play uninterrupted and when shit will hit the fan. So I play in very specific time slots. The past few days Comcast has had their heads up their asses but I'm being punished for it for "afking" when ultimately I have no control over said situation.

Literally the least amount of control seeing as it isn't even a problem on my end. I have never intentionally left a game (I play mostly ranked) and when I have "left" its because Ive been dc'd but always attempted to come back and in most cases have been able to come back and help my team. Either way its frustrating enough dealing with a company like Comcast during their "outages" but to also be punished for something completely outside of my control or influence seems a little...unfair.

It isn't Comcast's fault, I've worked for ISPs and they didn't even have random outages like that much in the 90s. Problem is your modem, your router, your inside wiring or your outside wiring, fix it, it's your responsibility.

Sounds like you need to get a new ISP or if their is none in your area, need to move.

I remember have packet losses and random disconnects back in the days.

Called the ISP and the technician came in and found a staple inside the cable, resulting in random disconnects.

Internet was much better since he came.

Comcast is notorious for their outages and disconnects, hell me and my friends have a joke that you got "comcasted" when you disconnect because one of our friends had comcast for the longest time and he was the only one to have those kind of issues and the only one to have comcast lol
