Permanently Banned for no reason and no e-mail sent to me.

I was banned yesterday, because two toxic players from the other team continuosly harrased me and my friend. I only responded to them by laughing and saying "get rekt". Afterwards I received two messages at the same time. One said that a player I reported got banned and the other one stated that I am permanently banned. I checked my e-mail and saw no messages regarding this suspension. I have said nothing toxic during that game and I still got banned. Sent a ticket to Riot explaining the whole thing. Is there a possibility of them lifting this undeserved suspension?

I have said nothing toxic during that game

...except "izi/ez" about 20 times. This is unsportsmanlike behavior and this is what got you banned.

Unsportsmanlike behaviour? How is that unsporstmanlike? Saying "izi" implies that their level of experience and overall grasp of this game's knowledge are far below the skill of your team. It's when you show the other team you are superior, because their Volibear straight up said "stfu noob teemo usless champ". Let's see what you have to say about that.

Saying "izi" is unsportsmanlike attitude. You are being prepotent and asshole by saying that kind of things. And, like others have said, you don't get permabanned that easy. I assume you have been punished a couple of times in the recent past, but you continued being toxic.

When you understand that saying "izi" is a very unsportsmanlike and douchebag attitude, maybe (and only maybe) your attitude will start to change.

Again, your "argument" doesn't make a grain of sense. You should be free to say whatever in a game. Why all these restrictions? I don't mind you submitting to the system, since obviously you like to act high and mighty, just cause you happen to not be banned. You haven't seen both sides of the story and yet you jump to conclusions, like a simple-minded person. I don't know why you're so frail as to get hurt by a simple word. But I guess that you not being able to handle a petty word makes your point all the more solid.

"Izi" = "easy". It's a way of mocking your enemies when you either win or are winning a game. And it's completely reportable and punishable (unsportsmanlike attitude).

It's disrespectful towards your enemy. You can be banned from pretty much every sport for behavior like that, this isn't limited to LoL. If you want to know about it, just google "unsportsmanlike conduct". You will find many explanations and many examples of athletes who got banned because of it.

By telling your opponents that the game was easy you mock their efforts to win the game. You are making fun of them by telling them that they are so bad that it wasn't even a challenge for you to beat them. And before you even think about this argument: It doesn't matter if it's true or not. Telling the truth and being a disrespectful jerk don't exclude each other.

Being rude to other people or lowering yourself to their level has very little to do with dignity. But after all it's your decision, do whatever you want. You are responsible for your decisions...and the consequences of these decisions. Just don't complain afterwards, you were warned. But why I am even saying this? You already felt the consequences and you ARE complaining.

If you reported them, they will get punished. Everyone who gets reported is subject to the same rules, and everyone who is reported is judged by their own actions, not those of others.

Let's take a real world example. If a man on the street shoots you in the leg, he has committed a crime, an assault on you. This is punishable by imprisonment. If you don't call the police and let them know, how will they know to punish him? However, if you go out and find the man and shoot him in the leg, you have just committed a crime, an assault on him. If he calls the cops on you, they will arrest you and imprison you. The law does not care that you did it in vengeance or retribution for him shooting you. The law only cares that you committed a crime and that you are to be punished for that crime.

There are proper channels for handling people who are insulting and offensive towards you in the game. This is reporting. Reporting is handled by an automated system that flags foul language and certain keywords in chat that are listed as unsportsmanlike. When you report someone, the system logs these flags that it collects, and files them. If enough reports against that person have been filed and triggered by the system for the same behavior, punishment is delivered. Since this system is automated, if you retort to negative people with foul language and those people report you, you also get flagged and the reports filed. The system doesn't care who submitted the report, only whether or not it finds incriminating evidence. Therefore, if you are polite and positive, if someone reports you, that report comes up false and the person reporting you has the weight of their reports reduced the next time they do it. But since you chose to be negative and flame other players in "self defense of your dignity," the system tagged you and since you apparently already had many toxic reports filed against you, it punished you.

If you are not yet aware of your trash attitude, then I'm afraid there's no hope for you.

You disrespect your opponents. That's reportable, because your attitude is toxic and that is detrimental to game experience. Do you need more explanation? Because if you do, oh boy, you have a serious problem.

I read through Riot's guidelines. Nowhere does it say that "izi" is offensive. How can you not be toxic even without expressing it in the game when Riot makes it frustrating to play? They ruin their game then punish their own players, because they ruin their own game. Cool.

Do you think Riot is going to specify every single possible case of unsportsmanlike attitude in their terms of service?

Just use your common sense. Mocking your enemies is NOT cool. It's NOT a good thing. It creates a toxic environment and promotes hostile behavior. Stop trying to justify yourself. What you did is WRONG. Accept it and change your attitude.

It is indeed. Don't particularly care for this game as of this thread, seeing that EVERYONE is swept away by the grasp of anger and self-absorption. Everyone here believes they are above toxicity and yet EVERYONE in this god-forsaken community is toxic :D Everyone who was ever negative towards me in this post alone is toxic and they claim I'm the only one toxic here XD I'm just the quickest fuse to burn out. So you were ban for toxic behavior, but you wrote in your topic title that you were ban for no reason. That doesn't make sense. Let alone that while these chatlogs are pretty tame you do show signs of Unsportmanlike conduct. Not only that, since this chatlog is pretty long I would assume it would have shown more but couldn't.

Also while you don't mention it here. It's right to assume you were punished beforehand? Because these chatlog shouldn't warrant a permaban right off the bat unless you said something in pre/post game chat. Either that or it would show your reasoning on being ban from your other chatlogs that they didn't show. Remember that the chatlogs only show your recent games. Not all the games you were reported in.

I would say contact support and wait for more proof.

toxic behavior gets permabanned, you are an annoyance to your teammates and enemies, spam izi and ez all the time and pretend to not be toxic because you didnt use any forbidden words. cute. glad to know you´re permabanned.

also, permaban means you got 3 other punishments before, so while this log likely would not get you a 10 game chat restriction, since thats tier 1 in punishments, you are held to higher standards the more you get punished, so they gave you 3 chances and you just ignored them and instead of actually being a decent member of society decided to try to find ways around the rules.

You are the people who trigger others into venting in chat and getting banned then back it up by saying "but I said nothing wrong". And yes, it is cute. Right now you are starting an argument. I'm glad that I'm permabanned too so I don't have to deal with people like you. Nobody from my team told me to shut up at the very least and because Riot can't fix one single game, I can't show you the chatlogs of the two players I reported, whom started first because they simply got tilted.

EDIT: Gladly won't return to this horrible community. And come on, a "vampire kid" who is 13 years old is going to tell me what's cute? Pfft. Get outta here.

There is a summoners code and you clearly broke it, there's no sign you'd change your behaviour because you seem to love saying izi which is just annoying and toxic that you pretend to be better than your opponent so I like that you got banned. Maybe you'll get a little wiser from this, but somehow I expect you won't.

Here's the funny part. How come games like CS:GO don't mind this behaviour as long as it doesn't overall hurt the gameplay itself? They don't mind you speaking trash and venting as long as you don't intervene with the game's mechanics e.g. hacking. I guess Riot were bullied in school or something.

Because obviously Riot has higher standards than cs:go. I don't really know what you were expecting to happen. This behavior is clearly against the terms of use which you agree to every time a new patch comes out. You were punished multiple times for similar behavior. Everyone in this game gets 4 strikes: 2 chat restrictions, a 14 day ban, and then a permanent ban. When you received your 14 day ban Riot even warns you that your next offense will result in a permanent ban. What did you think was going to happen, that all of a sudden your behavior wouldn't be considered toxic anymore?

If you don't agree with Riot's terms of use then don't play the game and don't support the company. It's really that simple.

I consider it admirable Riot goes that far to not condone any sort of toxic behaviour, Riot basically has a 0 tolerance to bullying which is a good thing to make League of Legends more friendly to play for younger kids and players that already get bullied in real life. You redicule it, but if you hate it that much then I gladly refer you to Randomonium his last 2 sentences.

So Riot has 0 tolerance to bullying? You are in the dark, my friend. In the deepest parts of self-satisfaction and utmost ignorance. The depths of a BOTTOMLESS abyss full of hatred and frustration. Riot and 0 tolerance towards bullying are two laws-of-physics-breaking-ly distant things. The game we are addressing now was the same game where a Volibear and a Yorick insulted me and my friend to insanity. They were extremely tilted and toxic and showed no remorse. If I have to compare their chats to mine, I'd say I kept my mouth shut. However I can't prove that to you. Nevertheless, they relentlessly attacked us with all sorts of profanity. At the post-game lobby I received a message that they have been supposedly punished. Thirty minutes later and they are back at it again with another game. No results from my report overall. However, I receive a permanent ban. Explain how that is fair to you.

Also, since this is a permaban, I'd bet that you have been previously punished in the past, but refused to get the hint.

I have seen many cases in which permanently suspended people retrieve their account due to false accusations. I haven't done anything wrong and I will even post the chat for proof. You will only find one single "shit" among the whole history.

Some of this can be viewed as mildly toxic. But I've seen a lot worse on people who don't even get suspended. Kind of dumb really. For what it's worth, Riot has threatened to ban my forum account for occasional uses of Japanese despite nothing at all in the rules about using non-English languages on the forum. I could understand it if I were making full Japanese posts, but all I'm doing is tossing in words here and there that there are no logical English translation for.
