Like a lot of people i got perma-banned

So, like a lot of people on this forum i got perma banned for the supposed use of third party software. I know that i dont use anything to cheat. Now thats said i will state i do have a number of things running at the same time as league. Now seeing as riot is giving me the same run around as everyone else i willl tell you guys what i generally have running. maybe we can figure it out. So i normally have play.tv, league, bnet, steam, google, and amd gaming evolved open. From what i read i dont believe any of these programs to fall under the perma ban category. What are your thoughts.

Only support can help you. People on the boards will allways doubt people that got the 3rd party software ban. It's natural since no one is going to admit they cheated, and everyone will claim innocence. Also it doesn't have to mean you "cheated". The same ban is given if you shared your account.

Honestly they just need to stop with the whole fucking perma ban shit. 3 months max and auto demote toxic accounts to bronze 5.

Yeah, that you get a diamond level player demoted to bronze... itll give users a terrible experience.

I say, lol, and I laugh... ban them from ranked play and give them a "banned Champion pool" consisting of low end champs. But they can still play whatever they want in custom games.

An account ban also prevents them from playing ranked on the account.

You can also make a new account and by-pass that bann anyways.

if you let them keep the account with certain things locked away from them... its a frequent reminder in that you messed up.

I think the fact that you lost all your stuff is a pretty big reminder.

I don't think you understand the intention Riot has when they permanently ban someone. Riot would rather the customer go elsewhere. Riot isn't under the delusion that permanently banning an account prevents someone stubborn from playing, but it sure as hell is a large discouragement, knowing that all the progression made on the account was thrown out the window.

Eh. If I had a car in my front yard and didnt have the keys to it... Its a constant reminder that I lost the keys... or whatever. The feel bad doesnt go away.

tbh i did get my first account perma banned about a year ago for being nasty in chat and i deserved it. But I wish I could have the account back somehow.

Please tell me you are joking, you do realize this person is accused of using hacks/scripts. So you basically want Riot to get rid of permaban even for these types of cheater to just three months, only to have them basically come back and cheat?

well it seems like there are lots of people who are getting banned without using scripts.
