Riot should implement a feature that allows unbinding the enter key

The post is exactly about what the title says. So why should riot implement this feature that allows the player to unbind the enter key : This feature should already be in the game , but it isn't , and it's purpose is to help players that know that they are toxic and also realise that they do not want to get banned or something. But people say that the solution to stop beying toxic , it's just to help your temper or do /mute all , but if you're a toxic person , YOU KNOW that it's so hard (and i mean extremely hard to hold your temper when you win your lane and you teammates go 0/10). Doing /mute all doesn't even help , maybe you can't see what your teammates are saying , but if you get tilted by a play or something , it's very hard to control yourself and don't start typing in the chat. In my opinion it's a very usefull feature to have , and it will also help a lot of players.

The feature is your brain.

Don't hit the enter key. Self control and maturity.

I do not want a player to restrict himself/herself from the ability to communicate potentially effectively with me and my teammates D=. I'd like to think this feature you propose will not help players' emotional development (such as anger and self-control), or even prevent a player to just simply re-bind it back to the enter key XD. I do not mind if a teammate becomes toxic and perform with toxicity. I don't get stressed, angry, or whatever, and I don't make it worse by adding fuel to the fire o.o(such as making sly remarks, replying to questions not important in-game, etc.). That's why I prefer my teammates to not restrict himself/herself of the ability to type. :<

Easier said than done, but ya' know, self-control =P. Unrelated, but in life, emotional development is an important thing to have for yourself and others around you along with real happiness. Don't expect progress to come on its own, quickly, or easily. Just typing this in case you want to think it about it or something.

No, it won't. If you are at the point of wanting to spam chat with toxic crap but suddenly can't what are you going to do? Are you going ot calm down and play? Probably not. Are you going to spam MIA pings on people? Probably. Are you going to take in game actions that convey the fact that you hate your teammates (afk, int, ect.)? Maybe. The point is, unbinding the enter key would treat a symptom of the problem not the problem itself. If you are at the point where you are asking for something like this to save your account, maybe you need to take a step back and figure out why losing 15-30 lp makes you so angry that you lash out in a way that (hopefully) you would never do to a person face to face for something as trivial as losing a game.

nope. riot wants a certain number of chat offenders to get banned so they can make it look like theyre doing something
