Crybabies in champ selection

Had a person literally cry because our last ban was used on Yasuo who he wanted to play. So he asked everyone to report the person who banned Yasuo. Never seen so much butthurt in my life.

Yes, and I don't understand why people are butthurt about it when it happens. I'm not being insensitive it's just rational to move on..

it's more like this. banning your own teammate's pick regardless of the reason is one of the most tilt inducing things a player can do. next to intentionally feeding. and people automatically assume you did it just to troll

I get what you're saying and it does seem like a bm move but when you look at it from another perspective, the player is doing what he thinks is best for the team even if his judgement is faulty. He (best case scenario) thinks certain champ is likely to be picked by enemy early, or not fitting in comp, or thinks player is not likely to play him well (a bit of an asshole assumption but oh well). In any case it's legitimate. I don't think any higher elo player will get mad because someone banned his/her champ (it also depends on which champ they're banning of course). I mean letting go of all this consideration for the team just to not anger the gods of salt may be mollifying the team mate but is not good for the team... On the other hand salty team mate is not good for the team either. It all comes down to player assuming (and i think it's more respectful if he does) that another player will not take it personally and make a tantrum.

however. this generally doesnt happen in higher elo. people are more likely to trade with a higher pick. and in low elo. "not angering the salt gods" is more important then skill tbh

Let me remind you of the definition:

Trolling: Deliberately trying to induce negative behaviour in others. I can't think of a better way to troll than banning your teammates champions every select.

I suspect you are being down voted because in the vast majority of cases, the person banning is just trolling. At best, the person banning their teammates champ select is not only not a team player but is a huge ego case - they think they know it all.

At least you learned they were toxic before entering the game.

That way, you can dodge rather than be stuck with them for 20+ minutes.

Why downvoted? I agree. People seem to be so egocentric when it comes to champ select. Most "normal" people just get mild salt and move on from here. This is especially weird because yasuo is frequently banned across all brackets.. So it's kind of expected. Maybe accumulated salt of never getting to play yasuo? But I mean it's just a given when you play a champ that is banned a lot.
