Players Deliberately Sabotaging My Ranked Games

Someone deliberately sabotaged a recent ranked game. He went AFK for a few minutes, returned to the game, ran down mid lane once just to die, and then left the game again.

This is part of a much larger trend of people deliberately sabotaging my ranked games. It has happened in my games at least a half a dozen times over the past 2 days. The trend of people leaving games is worse now than I've ever seen it in the 3 years I've been playing this game, and it seems like Riot never does anything of any import to actually address the problem.

Is anyone else noticing an increase in people going AFK (or just plain trolling games deliberately) lately?

I notice you just got downvoted with no comments. Honestly, it's pretty clear Riot is doing their best to just squelch the people who have played for a while and get negative experiences so they can keep getting new players to drop money and surprise them later with a poor managed system.

I have a question for those of you downvoting my comments. How can you possibly be taking the position that AFKing in ranked games is perfectly ok? What exactly is your thought process?
