Hey guys so this is Screwdriveh I got permanently banned and Im wondering why am I perma banned(in-game)? couldn't I just have been suspended or chat restricted? I know for a fact it was the yi game I played and every lane was over extended and I was told to farm. Its not like I haven't tried to work on what I say but still I think that's a bit harsh considering my team wasn't all that nice either. I had just gotten out of being dishonorable as well...

Did you get chat logs alongside your punishment, and had you had previous punishments? Without knowing that information it's hard to say.
You should have been given a report card when you were banned. If not, check your email and try logging into the client. It should be there.
As for why you didn't get a lesser punishment, punishments are dished out on an escalating basis generally. Meaning if a lower-tier punishment did not work, you will be escalated to a higher tier, including up to permanent suspension. For example, say I insult my teammates (no hate speech or anything, but toxic) and get a chat restriction. I do the same the again I will get banned. I do it against I get banned for a longer period of time. I do it again I can get a permaban. Why? Because no reform was shown after the warnings, so for the good of the community I would need to be culled.
Now, really bad offenses like hate speech, or telling others to kill themselves, may result in higher punishment faster and skin the tier system. But for most instances, punishes get progressively worse, with the 14-day ban being the final warning before perma.

Riot has previously tried to give permabanned accounts another chance. The challenge was for those owners to make it to level 20 without punishment and they'll get their original accounts back. The experiment ended with 95% failure rate.
With the success rates being so low, it's current not worth it to develop a new program to reform the permabanned players.
Yeah riot , I got suspended for getting playing 1 game of league of legends with people not with bots , its a really competitive game , and you just released buffs for jinx and I main jinx , the entire time I get ganged up on by players , and im playing really well like im sopose to and win my lane and get flamed , and I get banned? like i just want league of legends back you can bann me thats fine , but please do something about the community and game , I remeber I did get chat banned and it was fun , Im suggesting maybe do chat log banns more often and say it is because of the community issue , I know hearthstone has automated logs u could say and its always a nicer community in hearthstone because ur limited to what you can say , I just hate how I win or lose and still get flamed , the community has a problem and I just want league to be good and fun again , I dont care what you do to me riot I just want the game to be fun for everyone

I understand what I said, and its not like im denying what I said, but I have been working on it. it wasn't just me flaming that riven was flaming at me all game for her diving and dieing early game and so did the team they over extended and told me to farm yet I got reported? I still tried to help the team, and that game ziggs wouldn't even help the team. im pretty sure it was that game I had with yi and yes it was a bad game, but at least I tried and didn't afk. Ive had my whole Skin collection for the longest time some skins which you cant no longer get, and while I have said some toxic stuff some games what about all the games I have been honored and loved by people? im not saying that you shouldn't punish me, but I feel that perma ban was a bit too far.
is there anything I can do or anyone in my situation to prove ourselves to get unbanned?

that is something I didn't know but oh well the damage is done, i have seen way more toxic people then me but shit happens I will miss this game but it isn't worth it in my eyes to create a new account half of my years were on Screwdriveh
