just had a game where I was trying to stay relevant as rengar, my team was falling behind due to pushing to enemy turrets, normally ok, other than the enemy shaco on the other team. Blaming your team repeatedly is unproductive and not allowed. If they're doing stuff you dislike, mention the change you'd like to see in a neutral manner, then just play the game.

In general if you have begun your approach in a reasonable, friendly fashion and you are met with flame as a response, I would typically recommend simply disengaging and muting the person in question. It is fairly uncommon, in my experience, to get a better reaction by attempting to reason with someone who responds too polite conversation with an aggressive attack.
That's not to say it can't be done, but given the other objectives within a league game and the limited amount of time you have I would put your energy elsewhere.

No, you got chat restricted for retaliating and harassing them back. Just mute them and report them at the end of the game. I know it's not fun getting abused but dishing it back just means you get punished as well, it doesn't stop them flaming in 99% of cases.
Others will give you advice based on your chatlogs so I won't double up there.
