Permanent ban, worth?

Hi, so I got permanently banned after the 3 chances I got to reform. Last week I was glad I could play again after my 2 week suspension, and I knew not to be a d*ck. So the games after my ban I tried to focus on my games and not to respond to players who verbally abuse me. So the chatlogs of the 3 games which lead to my permanent suspension off league are to Riot extremely toxic. I always tell teammates they're doing good, and stop my teammates from shouting at each other, and welp. Now I'm permanently banned for being extremely toxic. I never called anyone bad, wished death upon them.. etc But why I opened this discussion is, I would love to know what could possibly be seen as extreme toxicity(?) which lead to my permanent suspension.

Asking for reports is punishable? All I wanted was to let the others know that the player in my team sh*ts on his teammates and tilts them.

Yep. Asking for reports tends to create a negative environment, and often leads to a he-said/she-said situation that no one enjoys, ESPECIALLY if done in all-chat. The system flags games as reported or not-reported: the NUMBER of reports you get in a single game is unimportant. So you reporting alone is just as valuable as you getting 8 other people to join you.

Repeatedly insulting your teammates, threatening them with reports and lobbying to have them mass reported, and in general a negative attitude (like repeatedly telling everyone to forfeit and the game is over). Nobody wants to play with someone that starts playing the blame game or telling them they suck, or seems like they are no longer interested in winning.

When it says your behavior was "extremely toxic" it's not talking about just those logs for the permaban, it's talking about all your behavior that lead up to that punishment, including your prior restrictions.

I always had a positive attitude, I join a game with a positive attitude, I never start a fight or insult. It's always a reply to one. And some of the messages are a repeat of the other toxic players in the game. I never blamed anyone and said they suck.

So you are definitely insulting players. But the more important thing, as Deep Terror Nami said, is that you're pretty much negative the entire time, criticizing everything they do, and threatening to report them. There are one or two moments of positive statements, but they're drowned out by the rest.

It doesn't matter if they started it, or they're being toxic, or you're repeating what they said -- none of that forces you to engage them or respond in kind. You're entirely responsible for your own in-game actions and words.

Mute/Ignore should have been the correct course of action here.

It's not a contest to see who started being toxic first, you don't get a license to flame or give up if someone else did something before you. And yes, you were constantly blaming other players;

That was just game 1. You have more negative chat than most people chat in total, just focus on the match and stop pointing fingers. I highly recommend muting them even if they aren't saying anything to you; I find that when I mute someone I don't have any urge to say anything to them myself.
