Any one know how many infractions you need to get banned?

(first boards post :) So I recently played a game as Blitzcrank . The new skins had just been released and I wanted to get into a game of Blind to test out the knew Lancer Paragon Blitzcrank. The game was very long (50 min) and at the end, we gave up the win to do Elder Drake. Then we got aced. There was a duo on our team (the jg and adc). The jg told me that my MissFortune adc was a support main. The MF didn't do very well and some of the deaths looked like they could have very easily been avoided. Later at the post-game screen, the jg told me that the MF was new, but not before I did some "flaming" in the chat (maybe I should have apologized after?). During the game, the jg asked both teams to report me for it. Well, I'm a pretty casual player and am unranked (lol), but I am level 36, and think that some of the plays were pretty questionable and I felt it was my duty to tell our team that, for instance," Just end. We don't need Elder Drake". So, enough of me baby raging about my game. At the end, I'm almost 100% sure that I got reported at least once. What I would like to know is that, how many infractions do you need to get banned (maybe not perma but for a week or so) and could I get some more info on how rito looks at these things? I am currently Honor Level 5 (I think) and during the game, I didn't say anything like "kys" or "fuk ur self" in chat. Thanks guys. Still love u Rito <3.

Everyone gets upset sometimes man - it happens. That being said, in almost all cases, its better to stay quiet and just ride out whatever is happening.

I cant speak for how many infractions it takes, mainly because I think a lot of it has to do with context. What did you say? Do you get angry often? Are you enjoyable to play with? Etc etc.

One or two reports isnt going to flag you as a horrible person - its people who consistently have a bad attitude and are just not fun to spend time with on the rift.

So dont freak out, relax, and just try to be a positive player from here on out.

Punishments follow this escalation path:

First Offense: 10 Game Chat Restriction Second Offense: 25 Game Chat Restriction Third Offense: Two Week Suspension Fourth Offense: Permanent Suspension

However, it is possible to skip to a Two Week or Permanent suspension based on the severity of the behavior in the game. Excessive negative behavior can result in a Two-Week or Permanent suspension at any time without having a chat restriction on the account.

Words/phrases that promote self harm, homophobia, sexism and racism can go straight to two week long bans.

However, since it doesn't seem like you did that, it usually takes 2-3 toxic games within the period of a couple of days to get your first offense. The system tries to establish a pattern of negative behaviour and then present it to you. (This is give or take, and what I've seen from the boards. It looks like the system will give you 2 or 3 games that show your negative behaviour upon receiving a punishment.)

Just try to keep it toxic free and you should be fine. I know the game gets a little frustrating at times, but just remember to keep it cool. You're not always going to win every game, and that's okay. It's not the end of the world if you don't win a game or two. You seem to play a lot of normal games, and that's usually what people go to learn new champs, roles or builds, so expect people to mess up and make mistakes. No one is perfect at this game lol. Even champions that I've been playing for years, I still mess up on.

Also try to not give up, that is seen as negative behaviour, you can put up a surrender vote but that's pretty much the extent of it.

Anyway what I'm trying to say is keep it cool and you should be fine! :)
