Hi, my IGN is Kalmair. I just logged on to find that I was perma-banned. I looked at the logs and they were from a game when I was in a 5 man party and they're all my friends. I don't understand why I was banned because I was joking and cursing to my IG friends. I think this is a mistake. Please, I don't want to be perma-banned after spending over 100$ because of this. I don't get why you' be banned from that chat even vs randoms considering the mood of the game. Although, normally such cursing, if actually intended to denigrate others, is quite toxic. If it's for some other reason, they shouldn't show those logs. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a false ban.

I'm starting to think that because of how poor AI is at understanding context and how punishing it can be for self-expression, it might be better not to have any punishments at all and just teach people to mute. You can't even make adult jokes without fearing that someone will take offense and report. Likewise, you can't debate builds or strategies because some over-sensitive clown will take it as "verbal abuse" even when you're not being disrespectful. The system is so broken and feels like the death of creativity or expression because typing anything more complex than what pings offer is stressful due to potential false reports.

I really think such a system does nothing but take away from fun and interesting conversations/jokes etc. What positive really comes from it when you can just mute an offender? It's so simple to mute and you don't even need to wait like you would if the person got punished. It's instant, BAM, muted. You are in full control and this way, you can still maintain freedom of expression instead of leaving an AI to decide. I completely support punishing afkers, intentional feeders, trolls of various nature, people using scripts for dodging etc.

Your team reported you. Or the enemy team reported you. Either way someone in your game found what you typed offensive. It doesn't matter if they are your friends. You were toxic and deserve your ban.

You used homophobic slurs. This alone is enough to get perma banned.

It would appear that one of your friends reported you. If it was meant as a joke/prank, your best bet would be trying to have the person that reported you send in a ticket. But I'm not exactly sure whether that would help you. Edit: Just to clear... just that they're your friends does not necessarily mean they approved of comments like

So proving that they were premade or even friends with you doesn't really prove that you didn't deserve to be banned.

Well for one.... That's so much chat.... You typed all of that in one game? Were you even playing?

And second, asking others to report someone is a bannable offense.
