**Are all AFK punishments SOLEY controlled by the LeaverBuster? **

This Vayne in my ranked game died 5 times in lane then blatantly says "I'm done.", RAGE QUITS the game at 15:40. (you can see his last death in the graph at the bottom of the link) Our team proceeds to play on despite the huge loss of our ADC until we're able to FF; but literally right as the surrender vote is 4-0 we see "Vayne has reconnected." Now I'm pretty sure at least our entire team reported him as AFK, and I see nothing was done about this. Not even a Loss Prevented. Just my opinion but, in cases like these Riot should be granting almost an immediate Loss Prevented and return all lost LP, (regardless of tribunal punishment or not) since it seems to me this is way too common to run into, especially at the Bronze/Silver tiers of ranked.

I just feel like this was completely missed.. WHY??

GL rito cant tell if it was intentional so she might get 30 min wait times as a punishment nothing else

I just want to know why this particular case wasn't caught, it seemed to me he was so quick to make the decision to quit he must've been doing this in previous games. I would understand if anyone was purposefully harassing the player, but this seemed to come out of nowhere.

And what can I do in the future to have these cases dealt with, if LeaverBuster isn't catching it?

Loss Prevented can't be allowed for disconnects because it would be way too easy to abuse that system to save LP in a lost game.

Reports for AFK/left games are, I believe, handled by the LeaverBuster system.

The last I heard the system checks for things like that too. If they have a number of games where they disconnected for a period of time and then reconnected they'll still get caught by leavebuster.
