Hello everybody,

What's going on with Solo Queue this season?

I'm not sure if this has always been the case for anyone else, but there's always one tilted person on my team before the game hits the 3 minute mark. Teammates are bickering in champion select and everyone has a terrible ego.

Granted I am playing in Gold 1 right now, but I'm not sure if that's what it's like higher plat/low diamond. I've hit Plat 1/Diamond 5 every season for the past 4 seasons, and it was never this bad.

Everyone had the mentality of "let's win the game together" instead of "I'm better than you, f*** off".

I'm not complaining and I'm not saying that I don't deserve to be where I'm at right now(my W/L ratio is terrible lol). Just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on player mentality within their Ranks.

TL;DR Are players in your extremely toxic too?

I think the biggest problem with LoL this season is how fast games snowball and how long it takes before you can even attempt to FF. Keeping in mind the first vote always fails.

My teammates aren't that toxic, but extremely incompetent. In my last 8 ranked games I did poorly exactly once. The other 7 games I had some minor flamers and, for the biggest part, the 3 randoms just having no gamesense.

I can carry games, it just is nearly impossible if your bot and mid have a combined death amount of 42.

The negative attitude definitely increased over the years. I think that's because of bad changes riot did. Players are not happy with them and bring that into games where they lower the general fun for everyone. It could also be that many player that played for many years have grown up now, e.g. they were like 16 years old when they started and now are 19 - 21 years old. They have many more and new real life problems and try to calm down playing league. Of course just playing a game won't let them forget their problems and they tilt easily.

Because if im forced to spend 45+ min with someone doing something i dont like ima be irritated that i had to spend 45 min

Thats why i like aram and poro king cause those games go by so much faster i dont care if my team pisses me off as much lol
