Is there anything a solo player can do against a toxic 4 man?

I was just paired with one of the most toxic 4 man's I've ever seen. I qued up in normal draft and finally got my jg that I've been trying for all week. I was incredibly excited and ready to play. Then I met the team Rito had gifted me. It began when they banned both of the champions that I wanted to play. Then they tried to bully me out of my role by threatening me with reports if I didn't give up my beautiful jg and take mid. When that didn't work, they resorted to the usual base namecalling and insults. When we got into the game I muted them all and tried to play as normal, but it was like all the fun had been sucked out of the game. I didn't even care if I won or lost because I didn't care anymore, the game was ruined.

I can live with a shitty game or two, what I cannot deal with is being abused by my "teammates" and feeling completely powerless. I cannot leave the game with the toxic foursome, I have to deal with whatever they want to throw at me through all of pick and ban, I cannot stop them danger pinging me as I farm my jg, and when the game ends I don't have any real hope for my one report for each of them to have any effect at all, after all, I was the only one who was forced to deal with them and there's very little I can say or do to try and prevent this.

Is there anything that can be done to try and improve the solo player experience? Lately league has become more and more about playing with your friends which is fine, but it makes it more and more difficult to play as a solo player; you have little to no influence over your teammates, you are at an immediate strategic disadvantage as you are not on teamspeak, and you cannot count on your team giving you any type of respect as you are essentially some random player league grouped with a team. What can I do about this? IS there anything I can do? Are any plans being made to make life better for the solo players?
