I have been playing league for a few years now and one major, ugly setback always stares me in the face no matter how many accounts I create. This is the scenario.. Player a (me) is harassed by player b (troll) for literally the whole game. Player A obviously gets frustrated and says things like "stop spamming the pings on me and verbally abusing me, I hope you get banned." When literally the whole game player B force-ably harassed and told me to kill myself, called me a %%%got etc. and yet... I HAVE A 14 DAY SUSPENSION FOR DEFENDING MYSELF AGAINST THE TROLL WHO WAS VIOLENTLY MORE AGGRESSIVE AND TOXIC THAN I WAS OR COULD EVER BE AND YET I STILL RECEIVED A 14 DAY SUSPENSION FOR 1 GAME MIND YOU~! AFTER I TOOK THE TIME TO WRITE DOWN EACH AND EVERY THING THAT PLAYER B SAID TO ME, CREATING SUCH A PURE AND CLEAN CUT TRIBUNAL CASE AND YET I AM PUNISHED. THIS AUTOMATED SYSTEM IS GARBAGE JUST LIKE RIOTS SUPPORT TEAM. THE PLAYERS WHO REVIEW TRIBUNALS ARE TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE AS WELL AS I SEE A CLEAR!!!! CLEARRRRR!!!!!!!! SIMILARITY TO RIOT AND FAVORITISM. Now then, rant aside.. you will be removing the 14 day ban or I swear, when I come back, I will be as toxic as humanly possible because that is what you create riot. You create toxicity with automated unfair systems which break players morale to the point of toxicity. If I get mad at someone for saying unbelievably hateful things to me, that is human. we are not robots who play league. (some are robots) but not me. I should not be punished in any way for reporting someone who told me to kill myself and I damn sure best not be punished for defending myself against such cases because what you don't understand riot... when multiple people join a queue for instance, in your new group setting.. they have absolutely no regard for anyone who is not their friend or in their group. This creates yet again more toxicity. No, the "reformed players" punishment is fucking moronic as well. Tons of people were super excited to come and play and get their loot then nearly everyone who plays was hit with "you are ineligible to receive loot due to previous behavioral restrictions.." you know what that did? it made me not give a shit about being toxic or not because if I have to wait 2-6 months after my 10 game chat mute or my 25 game chat mute or my 14 day suspension as it were right now, I simply wont give a shit about hex-tech, do you not understand what you're doing is literally fucked right the hell up. You promised every player hex-tech but people who already worked off their restrictions STILL HAVE TO WAIT! We need to see the root of the problem, which is riot itself. Riot is a huge corporation, they make TONS of money. How else do you think they could fund the events that they do? That being said, riot simply does not care about cases like these, they simply just don't because they make so much MONEY from the other players. This is the entire reason for the automated peer tribunal system, it wasn't to make the game more fair, it was to make it easier for riot support team to just sit on their asses and not do a damn thing. In real pay to play games, there are moderators, there are admins, there are support teams who are literally there just to help you. In league you get absolutely none of that. There is no actual person looking at your tribunals, there aren't active mods or admins in games and therefore they use an automated system which does not account for emotion or context. This has to stop, riot, you fucked up hard. In the end both the victim and the assailant get punished or sometimes just the victim, this is not how you control your games toxicity riot this is how you make it a whole lot worse. I expect leagueoflegends to be offline by 2018 due to lack of care for your players. Remember though, and I know a forum mod will see this, if I don't get my 14 day suspension lifted for defending myself to someone who told me to kill myself I will be coming back much more toxic after the 14 days and I'll have more than enough people who agree with me and we will all be as toxic as possible until you FIX YOUR TRIBUNAL SYSTEM! THAT IS SIMPLY WHAT YOU HAVE CREATED RIOT. If you don't want toxic players, don't have a toxic tribunal system that doesn't read context or emotion. In the end, fuck riot, fuck the tribunal system, and fuck all toxic league players who act as toxic as can be then have their friends report those who have only defended their well being and the well being of the other teammates. You fucking suck riot. In conclusion, league is not a fun or alright game to play anymore, it is not kid friendly, it is not even human friendly. Just don't play league its seriously not worth your time. Can't wait to see if anyone actually does something about my case. You know, the one were I defended MYSELF against someone who told me to KILL MYSELF, for your complete information riot, it's actually illegal to tell someone to kill themselves in certain areas. Anyway, can't wait to see if this huge fuck up will be resolved or not. If not, the amount of toxicity that will be all over league due to your negligence will be on you riot. I tried very hard to make this a clear message to riot about the actual struggles of the tribunal system and banning of actual trolls not the victims who defended themselves. Hopefully they will see what truly needs to be done so we can all actually have fun on league without worrying about being reported back for telling someone to fuck off when they say extremely nasty things.

This was the chat of the ONE GAME i got a 14 DAY SUSPENSION from. Now, my problem is, yeah you can see I got annoyed with 2 players on the team, BUT YOU CANT SEE WHAT THEY SAID TO ME THEREFORE THERE IS NO CONTEXT!!! NO CONTEXT MEANS YOU CANT PUNISH ME~!!! I WAS LITERALLY DEFENDING MYSELF FROM A DUDE WHO TOLD ME I SHOULD JUST KILL MYSELF AND A PLAYER WHO WAS OBVIOUSLY INTENTIONALLY FEEDING HE WENT 0/13. The player who told me to kill myself is named bosdrom or bosrom something like that, you can surely look at their chat logs compared to mine and you can CLEARLY SEE I did not deserve a 14 day suspension for this, it is the other way around, cho and riven from that game the feeder and verbal abuser are at fault, not me for getting upset. One last thing I will address is, in this single game the riven tried to steal my lane from the pregame on, spammed warning pings on my character for a good 10 mins straight, told me to kill myself, verbally abused me for the entire game until I had to mute them, crashed my lanes cs, and had her friends report me for literally nothing. The cho fed constantly and when asked about his build he didn't change for the team strategy or anything (classic feeder) literally the worst thing I said all game was "get fucked cho" one single line of text in one single game which it usually takes 2-3 games for something like this 14 day punishment to be applicable. Your system is broken, completely and utterly broken. Get your shit together riot or people will inevitably stop playing or wanting anything to do with league.

Emphasis mine.

Riots general policy is "two wrongs don't make a right". As long as Player B gets reported they will be judged by what they say and do. Just as Player A is judged by what Player A says and does.

Regardless of what Player B does, wishing they get banned is not sportsmanlike conduct. It is a minor thing, but if Player A is doing that frequently and consistently, then it builds up and will get Player A in trouble.

It does not matter who did it first. It does not matter who did it worse. If two players do it, both players get punished.

The issue is you not taking responsibility for your own actions. You keep getting banned because you never change.

Just a quick break to mention that this is THE FIRST THING that you typed into the chat. Asking others to report people is both pointless and inflammatory, and as such is considered a form of harassment. Riot's system counts reports on a "per game reported in" basis. Not per report sent. 1 report in a game is weighed the same as 9 in any given game.

Most of your chat was doing nothing but bitching out your team, which shockingly enough doesn't ever do anything to remedy a situation.

Even if they were telling you to kill yourself, raging at them is not going to help. Your job is not to dole out justice. It is to bring injustice to the attention of those who CAN dole out justice. You have no need to verbally defend yourself against people you will never meet. You only need to mute them to avoid further problems with them (without going out of your way to tell them that you are muting them as that is simply taunting behavior) and then report them after the game. I'm not saying they should get away with such things, but that you are not the party capable of or responsible for taking them down.

It sucks that you were banned, but the facts are that contributing more negative behavior to a bad situation will never improve matters. If you had simply muted and reported, then you would be playing another round of League instead of posting this thread.

The other players' chat logs are completely irrelevant in judging your behavior. They said what they said, and you said what you said. They will be judged in their report cases just like you are being judged in yours. Had you simply muted and reported, there would not be a case against you to begin with.
