this player in my game kept telling me to "kys" (keep yourself safe), is riot's system smart enough to realize this shit?

"Kys" is a known and very common abbreviation for "kill yourself", not "keep yourself safe". If someone types kys they know exactly what theyre saying, even if you try to act like you were making a new abbreviation
No, because it was originated as "kill yourself". You're just looking for an excuse to use it so you don't have to face the consequences. So don't try that bullshit. People see right through it.
It will never be "keep yourself safe" in this game. Never. If you want to use it, then type it in discord or something.
