I think the 14 day ban and the punishment system is incredibly stupid, when your entire team flames you and ints on purpose in your fricken promos and you say 1 thing to them and the trolls in the game report you and tell all chat to report you and you get the same punishment as the trolls is ridiculous, now all the people gonna say "you shouldn't say anything just mute chat" , and my response is how can you not get tilted when you spent all this time trying to get in these promos and they get screwed up cause of boosted and toxic trash. Now i am 1 ban away from being perm banned. I just like don't get it. I miss season 3-5 league when you could say anything you want to the trolls, cause this generation now gets offended by everything and league reflects on that. just my 2 cents.

From someone who participated in Tribunal and has been playing since Season 1/2, your memory of the systems during Season 3-5 is incorrect. The reason many players did not go punished was the horrible inefficiency of the Tribunal system - not that their behavior was not worthy of punishment.

3-5 years is not going to have a drastic impact on generations. Your just looking for an external force to be the reason you've been punished 3 separate times for the same reason

I act like a mature adult and dont let myself sink to those levels. Ive played since s2 and never even had a chat restriction. It seems to work for me.

In a perfect world, being baited by a troll might absolve you of responsibility for your chat. But in reality, I see no way to fairly implement that.

Also, please don't feed trolls. You just encourage them to keep on trolling. Hell, I've had trolls stop trolling when they fail to provoke a reaction. It's not at all common, but it does happen.

I just play with chat turned off entirely, I throw a link to discord or teamspeak at champion select and it my teams choice if they want to use teamwork that way, otherwise, the ping system works just fine for me.
