Confused about ban

so just got banned for getting report in 1 game. In the game I got mad at a teammate who very questionably left me to die in a fight we could have won. I typed in chat asking if he was trolling,(because it littearlly looked like he was trolling), and he replied by saying "it's preseason ranked no one cares about winning". Despite being angry, I didn't speak much in chat after that. Is one instant of saying something in game really reportable? It just feels so bad to have teammates calling you autistic and terrible because you're having a bad game, and then to get banned afterwards. It really feels like if you do bad and say anything in chat, even if it's barely anything you can just straight up get banned if those 3 people flaming you all game report you. For context, this was the only game in the logs and the only instance of me saying something that could be considered toxic was after that 1 play.

Is there more chatlogs that I'm just not seeing? It'd be nice if a riot member could post them or explain why this was enough to get banned for :(

While I'll agree partially with your flaming ally one, I honestly still am not sure if he was trolling or not. After I died(with him full hp right next to me not trying to help), he responded with "stfu it's preseason no one cares". However, blitz actually did afk. He kept saying "If we don't play better and group I"m going to afk, then after the 10th time he said that I responded with "you're pushing mid with 3 of us not there, encouraging us to not group by getting caught out" litterally my 1 statement to his 10 over the game. Then he said he actually did afk after someone died and we lost the game 4v5 with him spamming laugh in the fountain.

With that context you really think I earned the ban for saying 1 thing to gangplank all game? and for that being the only game to have gotten me banned?

If that is the case, would you still feel the same way if gangplank actually was trolling and got me killed intentionally to cause a reaction?

it's more just frustrating to get banned from people saying things like that reporting me for feeding. No one reported me for miniraging at gp a single time. I got banned for "feeding" by people the people throwing insults like that at me.

I was calling him selfish because he made a decision that may have been good... if he was playing for his own score. But from a team stand point it was objectively a bad decision. For context, I was getting chased my akali and annie as xayah, I managed to get akali down to legit 50 hp, and annie down to 200. Gp was there the whole time but he kinda just stood around and let me die (I guess because he assumed I wouldn't be able to do anything-- which in hindsight it was inappropriate to rage at him just for assuming I wouldn't be able to play decently). I'm normally good at holding in my anger in chat but in this case it looked like he was trying to get me killed.

This was the only chatlog given to me by riot

if you played leona and e'd into a 2v2, then your adc spams laugh and doesn't do so much as auto attack and then you die as your adc does literally nothing, you'd be okay with that and see it as an opportunity for self reflection? Because if you say so much as "wtf why didn't you follow" then apparently you deserved to get permabanned
