League is dead, Play more fortnite

I finally uninstalled the game after being banned for 3 games chat logs in which i didn't cuss or say anything really bad, last i checked telling someone they're bad at a video game isn't really a serious offense. Also in a game where our mid-laner actually went afk after dying to mid 3 times and stealing my red buff, i was the one who ultimately got banned, how is this fair riot? The whole let the players decide who to ban thing is toxic and people report as they please without actual reason. Even after reading these chat logs i still do not understand why i was banned unless the words dumb, dope, and trash have become bannable for some childish reason. Besides the terrible banning system the game is trash, the community is toxic, and the new cursors are ugly. P.S. in case you think I'm a toxic person I'm not, i have plenty of fun playing fortnite and am not mean, this game just breeds toxicity.

DIdn't get perma-banned I got my first 14 day ban for no reason while the afk in my game is still playing I'm sure

There was a complete reason for it. You consistently harassed and flamed your teammates in three separate games.

You didn't read what they said though, its not harassment if its two sided, all I'm saying is if your qualifications for a ban is this then this game deserves to die. And the player base is a bunch of players who's mom probably protect them with bubble wrap armor and a leash when they were kids. I could never come close to getting any sort of repercussions irl for telling someone they play ball like a girl or they're trash at a sport. So why foster a bunch of thumb suckers in a video game where skill is required to win, this game is meant to be played competitively. And so long as i don't say things children of age to play shouldn't be hearing, like actual cuss words, I don't see the problem with what I said.

It is still harassment even if you are being harassed. There is no "self defense" in League except for muting and reporting.

If you're playing a sport and you constantly harass someone you perceive is bad, you'll be quickly removed from the team/banned from the rec center/told to leave the league/etc. There's no thumb sucking. People play League to have fun. You seem intent on making sure others aren't able to have fun just cause you're mad at them.

And if you think people should get banned for their words and over gameplay then you're abusive of the report option, there is a mute button for things you don't want to read. And everything I've said isn't unwarranted tourrettes, not like I'm cursing people out in game using offensive words for no reason, I'm telling people they suck after 5 times running it down bot lane not using their auto attacks at all, last i checked you suck at the game if you dont even know to auto. If that's fair to you then fine. But seriously not allowing people to play and taking away money people spend on a game due to a ban resulting from u saying things people didn't like, it's a bit childish and definitely fosters to 13 yr olds or people with self-perception issues. You report people and ban them for cheating like using scripts, hacking someones account and taking they're RP or something, selling accounts or trading, or for going into games and running it down intentionally feeding the other team forcing a loss for your team. You don't report people for being unenjoyable to play with which I will agree I am.

Casting aspersions is a great way to lose credibility in an argument. In fact, I was hoping you'd say that - I went to my local rec center today after work for weight lifting, and I actually saw someone being removed and losing their membership (presumably they'll have to fight the manager for a refund as they said the manager would be in contact) because they were being abusive during an open court game of basketball.

Harassment, abuse, and flaming is not banter. It's abuse. Abuse is not fun to play with, and you do not have any right to play League. If you ruin other's experience, you do not deserve League, and Riot will not let you play League.

In basketball you totally can be technical fouled for abusing a referee or a player. A second offence will see you ejected from the stadium and given a suspension.

It’s still harassment either way you put it. You sat there’s and spammed “report him” “you’re so bad” over and over again and not call it harassment.

Just because you shoot someone for no good reason and then someone retaliates doesn’t excuse your initial action and make it self defense instead of murder.

I said it over the span of 40 + minutes, not exactly spam, and this is after the enemy says he doesn't afk report, knowing if he had the player on his team he would. Also I went 8/4 i think with a team thats 1/5 0/3 and so on, yet i get a ban. Just saying i remember when i first started playing i was bad and couldn't get many kills like every new player, so saying ur bad, has its times of being true, especially when ur no longer a new player like the players in my game. and don't compare shooting to non-violent speech, its a complete over exaggeration and you sound illiterate like you don't understand the difference between saying you suck at this game and shooting someone to kill them. Ignorant

Illiterate is the inability to read and write. And what I did was a comparison or an analogy. It’s a literary example to pint a picture of what you were doing. I know the difference between being bad at a game and someone getting shot. I was merely using it as an example because you were telling the moderator that harassment doesn’t count as harassment just because the other player retaliated. So please don’t tell me I’m illiterate or ignorant when I’m just using examples of what you are trying to do. Don’t be a child. And learn what words actually mean before you use them, it’ll make you seem less ignorant to the language you are using.
