Hey Ralent, that sort of behavior is definitely not ok and Riot punishes racial slurs and other hate speech severely, but the boards are not the appropriate place for reporting it so I've removed the image per the Universal Rules. It's alright to discuss this, as long as the names are left out/censored.

If they were being racist/abusive in-game, your reports in the post-game lobby are enough, and if it's in the lobby please annotate that in the description box. If you feel you must report something outside of that, submit screenshots in a Support Ticket under the request type I have a question and the category Game & Features::General Questions.

He said they "can't often" take action; that's because the vast majority of tickets players send in, it's for something the automated system is perfectly capable of handling and that it would be both unfair to the player to circumvent that and a waste of Riot's time to do so.

You can submit tickets, but keep in mind that it really is best to leave it to the report system most of the time.

No they don't, not only using the report function anyways. As Deep Terror Nami pointed out, they'll only get punished if they were racist inside of the game. people can say whatever outside of the game.

To be fair, I think that's how it should be. People who stay around after game are just in it for their ego anyways

You are jumping to false conclusions there...

This does NOT mean that "people can say whatever outside of the game.". In the very comment you quoted, DTN said: "if it's in the lobby please annotate that in the description box."

Meaning: You can simply report pre- and postgame misbehavior with the report button.

You cannot report pre and post game things because riot does not record those things, meaning that they wont act on it. Give me one single situation where you have ever seen it happen, or heard about someone being punished for things said in pre or post game.

But that's manual case review and they'll hardly ever manually review the case at all. Besides that you still don't have any account of anyone ever getting punished for pre or post lobby things.

So what? Doesn't mean it never happens. Further, rarely are we even notified if someone we report gets punished. So your demand is meaningless and doesn't prove squat.

its ok they will..honestly I'm surprised i hear any ban stories. we reported a hiem yesterday after he went full on troll..start inting...then of course..there was the all germans are nazi's thing...then of course him fucking all of our mothers....calling us %%%s...you know...the usual stuff...especially that racist thing....you know...ALL GERMANS ARE NAZI'S....and riots report system did nothing to stop him.....it did nothing to him...hes out there right now....saying all germans are nazi's....nami would you like to shed some light on how your report system works?
