Suspended for being toxic towards my 5 premades in team chat

Iv'e recently been suspended for being toxic in a game, turns out there was a "glitch in the matrix" and riot posted the wrong game log (since the log they posted made no sense as to why I would get banned). Today Iv'e received a response for my ticket saying I was suspended for a game I was highly toxic in but here's the thing.. I was in a skype call with all four of them and I have no microphone so I'm talking in game whenever they speak to me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I wasn't toxic, but if I was only toxic in team chat and no one on my team reported me, why was I suspended? No one was hurt by any of the things I said, we were all laughing and having fun. item 3070 item 3070

Has anyone experienced this before?

EDIT: After talking to people at riot via the ticket I sent; seems to be that the system just activated by itself and decided that I flamed and should be suspended, without anyone reporting it.

After like 100 games of me talking to my friends using in game chat because I have no mic, it had to be now, 2 weeks before the season ends when I'm at silver 1 with 50 LP... FeelsBadMan :^ )

More than likely, and it happens a lot if you win, the loser will report in hopes that you might have said something toxic in chat just for revenge. Welcome to the cesspool that is human life.

Yes this can happen if one of the following situations occurs.

  1. this one is unfortunately pretty common, one of your friends is a dick and reported you anyway.
  2. one of the enemies was toxic and reported everybody and you got banned on your chat. For as far as I know, the system always checks all the chat no matter what side reported you.
  3. they gave the wrong chat again, that would be dumb, but they did so once.

it only takes 1 report to flag the system to check for toxicity.

It could be from the enemy team (they could even be blind reporting you) or from your team mates that reported you but not telling you, but the report has to come from somewhere.

I would like to speak to someone at riot regarding this "issue" if it could even be called an issue, given the fact that I was toxic in that game, no doubt. I'm trying to solve this with a ticket Iv'e sent and I did receive a response (as I said above) but it's taking a while for them to reply, probably because I'm not the only one submitting a ticket.

Is there a way I could speak to one here at Boards?

So I pretty much got suspended for not having a microphone, and I pay for it by not having the chance to get a gold border at the end of the season?... '-'

Non of the excessive cursing towards my teammates was in all chat, the only things I wrote in all chat would be just normal stuff people would write to each other in an everyday match.. I'm pretty sure the main reason to this ban is the toxicity in team chat :|
