I was wondering. Does anyone know how serious riot takes a report made on a player? Do they see it and investigate or do they just put them in some junk folder?

They look into them, I think there is catch words that if they use in a match they might be put into priority, obviously we know the words that would put them up in the list. I think if they have a certain amount of deaths it would be looked into faster, but then again I'm not a member of riot and don't know their code of reports.

Reports are managed by a dynamic Instant Feedback system; in which, the system takes reports from players in each region and determines negative and toxic behavior. With that information, reports are analyzed and if the report is determined to be accurate, a player is punished and/or the report counts towards their account standing for a future punishment.
